A line supervisor is a front fighter on the Production floor.
Production line supervisors must ensure all personnel are aligned and executing the company’s proactive work to standard so that the company meets its business goals 100% of the time.

Three (3) key working areas of line supervisor include:
1. Ensure the Right Quality. (Accurate, documented, and minimally revisited tasks).
2. Ensure Efficiency. (Optimal resource utilization)
3. Ensure Safety & Security. (Compliance issue)

Being a good line supervisor is challenging. A line supervisor is responsible for monitoring the line operations within an organization, ensuring the adequacy of line staff on production, and supervising the quality control processes. Line supervisors enforce the highest safety standards and procedures within the premises to avoid operation hazards that might cause production delays. They also train new employees, coordinate with the management for process improvement, and develop strategic techniques to minimize excessive costs without compromising service quality.

Alhamdulillah!

I have successfully started a new semester as a Facilitator of the Organizational Development subject of the IPM Bangladesh PGDHRM Program.

I wish all the best to all my OD learning partners.

Teaching or Facilitating is my passion and I strongly believe that Nothing great in the world has ever been accomplished without passion.

[ Organization Development (OD) is one of my favourite study fields.
OD is a planned effort or initiative that focuses on improving an organization's capability through the alignment of strategy, structure, people, rewards, metrics, and management processes.

Organizational development creates a constant pattern of improvement in which strategies are developed, evaluated, implemented, and assessed for results and quality.

In essence, Organizational Development builds a favourable environment in which a company can embrace any change, both internally and externally.]

Happy Earth Day 2024: Today, on World Earth Day, also known as International Mother Earth Day, we celebrate a globally recognised event that aims to promote the sustainability of our planet and raise awareness for environmental protection.

Celebrated annually on April 22, this significant day engages around one billion people worldwide in activities that address the climate crisis and encourage behavioural change to preserve the environment.

This year’s Earth Day theme, announced by EARTHDAY.ORG, is ‘Planet vs. Plastics,’ with the ultimate goal of building a plastic-free future for generations to come. The theme highlights the threat that plastics pose to the planet and human health and calls for an end to all plastic waste.
