The Storyline :
Set in a backdrop where the Empire Shoe Factory collapsed and hundreds of workers died or were injured. Ashfaq Reza an eminent lawyer is fighting a case in favour of the shoe factory trying to prove that Kepler Builders is at fault as they used adulterated materials while building the structure of the factory. Just a day before the verdict of the high-profile case Reza reaches Violet Inn to spend a relaxing night with a girl named Natasha, the PR executive of Kepler Builders at the 16.5 floor. On the other hand, journalist Rini (Zakia Bari Mamo), her friend ADC Altaf (Imtiaz Barshon) and Rakib (Intekhab Dinar) also gather that night on the same floor with their own vested interests. But the unexpected happens, Natasha is shot and murdered. From this juncture the plot of the series takes a blind turn. A question keeps roaming in the minds of the visitors (Reza, Rakib, Rini, ADC Altaf) present at the 16.5 floor 'Who has committed the crime?'

Reaction :
The story is narrated in a non-linear format with an engaging plot. The unique story-telling from the perspective of each character not only makes the content distinctive in its approach but also keeps the viewers hooked.

The performance of each and every artist is free flowing and eloquent. Nisho as Reza is just to the point and maintains his class as usual. Intekhab Dinar has always been a treat to watch and here his performance is apt and fluent. Mamo has just nailed it with her dialogue delivery and expressions. Her mannerisms in certain scenes expressing her mental state especially when she smokes seem bang on. Imtiaz Barshon once again is up to the mark. After barrister in Kaiser he once again proves his mettle as ADC Altaf though in a diametrically opposite role. Shahed Ali as Gaffar is equally good and seems appropriate in accordance with his character. Afiya Tabassum Borno as Natasha has done a fairly good job with such talented and eminent actors. Quazi Nawshaba has perfectly used her space and scope given to her. She not only acted well but also proved her talent.

All actors are provided equal space to bloom rather than one or two characters overshadowing the others.

The twist in the last episode comes as a shocker to the audience. Till the 5th episode actually there were very little or no clues to such an ending. The tragic end gives an appropriate closure to the plot.

Though the 4th and 5th episodes are a little let down, the series peaks again in the last episode and progresses to give an interesting end to the series. The series succeeds in holding its interest almost till the 5th episode though in the 6th episode it becomes a little bit predictable to me.

All in all, a great watch and worth the time. Certainly would advise viewers to binge it on Hoichoi.
