জায়গাটাতে অদ্ভুত একটা প্রশান্তি আছে। দলবেঁধে ঘুরতে যাওয়ায় আড্ডায় আড্ডায় কখন যে দুপুর গড়িয়ে বিকেল হয়েছিল টেরই পাইনি আমরা! পড়ন্ত বিকেলে আড্ডাটা জমে উঠেছিল বৈকি! অনেক পুরোনো দিনের স্থাপনা তাই অন্যরকম একটা ভাইব পাবেন। বোর্ডিংয়ের রেস্টুরেন্টে দুপুরের খাবার কিংবা বিকালের নাস্তাও করতে পারবেন। তবে ওখানকার আইটেমগুলোর দামটা যেন বড্ড বেশি লেগেছে আমাদের কাছে। যাইহোক ঘুরতে যেতে তো আর দোষ নেই। সো আপনাদের জন্য শুভকামনা রইল।

History has been made

Wasfia Nazreen raised the flag on the summit of - 8,611 metres (28,251 ft) the highest mountain of and the second highest mountain of the world on Friday, 22nd July, 8:55 AM. A summit is technically complete when a climber comes back to basecamp by foot, which Wasfia did last night safe & sound at 10:55 PM, guided by Nirmal Purja aka Nimsdai. Wasfia becomes the first Bangladeshi and Bengali person to summit world’s most treacherous mountain.

Wasfia humbly remembered all the known & unknown martyrs of her motherland, from the language movement to the liberation war and encouraged the youth of the nation to take inspiration from our past and never give up. She said from the summit of the world’s most dangerous mountain: “Thank you to everyone from everywhere who made this historic journey happen. Happy 50th Bangladesh, here’s to the next glorious 50!!!”

This historic wouldn’t have been possible without the kind sponsorship of Bangladeshi owned Renata Limited.
