👉রাজশাহী কলেজ বাংলাদেশের রাজশাহী শহরে অবস্থিত একটি শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান। ১৮৭৩ সালে এই কলেজটি প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়। ঢাকা কলেজ ও চট্টগ্রাম কলেজের পরে রাজশাহী কলেজ বাংলাদেশের তৃতীয় প্রাচীনতম কলেজ।[১] জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধিভুক্ত স্নাতক ও স্নাতকোত্তর স্তরের ৬৮৫টি কলেজের ২০১৫ সালের তথ্যের ভিত্তিতে রাজশাহী কলেজ বাংলাদেশের সেরা কলেজ।[২][৩][৪] বাংলাদেশে এই কলেজ হতেই সর্বপ্রথম মাস্টার্স ডিগ্রি প্রদান করা শুরু হয়। কলেজটি রাজশাহী শহরের কেন্দ্রস্থলে রাজশাহী কলেজিয়েট স্কুল এর পাশে অবস্থিত। এই প্রাচীন কলেজের পাশে অবস্থিত হবার কারণে স্কুলটির নাম কলেজিয়েট রাখা হয়েছিলো । এটি বাংলাদেশ জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ‍্যালয়ের অধীনে মাস্টার্স ও সম্মান ডিগ্রি প্রদান করে থাকে। ১৯৯৬ সাল থেকে এই কলেজে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক স্তরে ছাত্র নথিভুক্ত করা বন্ধ করা হলেও বর্তমানে ২০১০-১১ শিক্ষাবর্ষ থেকে পুনরায় ভর্তি করা হচ্ছে।

Choto Sona Masjid (ছোট সোনা মসজিদ) || Great Historical Places in Bangladesh || Golden Mosque

ছোট সোনা মসজিদ বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম প্রাচীন মসজিদ। প্রাচীন বাংলার রাজধানী গৌড় নগরীর উপকণ্ঠে পিরোজপুর গ্রামে এ স্থাপনাটি নির্মিত হয়েছিল, যা বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশের রাজশাহী বিভাগের চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ জেলার শিবগঞ্জ থানার অধীনে পড়েছে। সুলতান আলাউদ্দিন হুসেন শাহের শাসনামলে (১৪৯৪-১৫১৯ খ্রিষ্টাব্দে) ওয়ালি মোহাম্মদ আলি নামে এক ব্যক্তি এই মসজিদ নির্মাণ করেছিলেন। মসজিদের মাঝের দরজার উপর প্রাপ্ত এক শিলালিপি থেকে এ তথ্য জানা যায়। তবে শিলালিপিতে নির্মানের সঠিক তারিখ সম্বলিত অক্ষরগুলি মুছে যাওয়ায় নির্মাণকাল জানা যায় নি। এটি কোতোয়ালী দরজা থেকে মাত্র ৩ কি.মি. দক্ষিণে। মসজিদটি মুসলিম স্থাপত্যের অন্যতম নিদর্শন। এটি হোসেন-শাহ স্থাপত্য রীতিতে তৈরি।

Kherua Mosque | খেরুয়া মসজিদ | Kherua Masjid Sherpur Bogura

Kherua Mosque is a very important monument of Bangladesh. This mosque is built by combining Mughal architectural style with pre-Mughal Sultanate period architecture. This mosque, which has survived for about 435 years, is located 20 km south of Bogra town in Khondkar Tola Mahalla of Sherpur Upazila Sadar.

History: According to the inscriptions on the front wall of the mosque, it was built in 1582 by Mirza Murad Khan Kakshal, son of Jawahar Ali Kakshal. The title 'Kakshal' was given to the Turks. Ghoraghat region was under Turkish Jagirdars. The identity of Mirza Murad Khan Kakshal is not known. Sherpur was then an administrative center under Ghoraghat. Historians speculate that Mirza Murad Khan Kakshal was the jagirdar or faujdar of Sherpur.

The naming of Kherua Mosque is not clear. Abul Kalam Mohammad Zakaria mentioned in his book Antiquities of Bangladesh, "No record of the name of Masjid Kherua has been found. There is no word Kherua in Arabic or Persian.' But in Persian there is a word 'Khair Gah'. Which means 'within a place'. When Raja Mansingh was the Subadar of Bengal, he built a fort at Sherpur. This fort no longer exists. However, if the mosque was built inside the Sherpur fort, then it can be assumed that the name Kherua can be derived from 'Khair Gah

Regular prayers are offered in this ancient mosque. Moreover, the archeology department has built the boundary wall of the mosque so the environment of the mosque is good.

Bhavanipur is one of the fifty-one Shakti Peeths of Sati Mata Tara located in Sherpur, Bogra District, Rajshahi Division, Bangladesh. It is a holy pilgrimage site for Hindu devotees.

History : In the Satya Yuga, when Sati Mata left her body after a skilled yajna, Mahadeva carried Sati's dead body on his shoulders and started the global deluge dance. In this, the body parts of Sati Mata fell in different places of the Indian subcontinent and all these places are known as Shakti Peetha. [4] According to various sources, it is said that in Bhavanipur of Kartwatatta, Sati Mata Tara's left leg ornament or left rib or right eye or bed fell. [5] ] Bhavanipur is one of the famous Shakti Peethas of Bangladesh and Indian subcontinent. Devotees from all over the country irrespective of caste, creed and caste come here on pilgrimage throughout the year.

It is said that here once a Shankhawala (conch-maker) was crossing the edge of a pond in the deep forest on the edge of Bhavanipur temple. At that time, a small girl wearing Sindhi came to him and told him that she was the princess of Nato's palace. He bought a pair of conch-shells from the conch-walla and asked the conch-walla to ask the Queen of Natore to pay for her conch-shells from a basket kept in a certain place in the palace. Impressed by the conch girl's humble words, he gave her the conch. After hearing about the little girl from the mouth of the conch-walla, Maharani went to the place told by the girl with the people and that conch-walla. After listening to the conch-walla's prayer, Mother Bhavani raised the conch-shells in her two hands from the conch-pond. The Maharani and the people present were amazed at this and the glory of Maa Bhavani (Mother Tara) spread throughout the subcontinent.

The pond was later renovated by Nato's royal family and today pilgrims bathe in this legendary conch pond.

ভবানীপুর বাংলাদেশের রাজশাহী বিভাগের বগুড়া জেলার শেরপুরে করতোয়াতটে অবস্থিত সতী মাতা তারার একান্ন শক্তিপীঠের অন্যতম। হিন্দু ভক্তদের জন্য এটি একটি পবিত্র তীর্থস্থান।

ইতিহাস : সত্য যুগে দক্ষ যজ্ঞের পর সতী মাতা দেহ ত্যাগ করলে মহাদেব সতীর মৃতদেহ কাঁধে নিয়ে বিশ্বব্যাপী প্রলয় নৃত্য শুরু করলে বিষ্ণু দেব সুদর্শন চক্র দ্বারা সতীর মৃতদেহ ছেদন করেন। এতে সতী মাতার দেহখন্ডসমূহ ভারতীয় উপমহাদেশের বিভিন্ন স্থানে পতিত হয় এবং এ সকল স্থানসমূহ শক্তিপীঠ হিসেবে পরিচিতি পায়।[৪] বিভিন্ন সূত্র মতে, করতোয়াতটের এ ভবানীপুরে সতী মাতা তারার বাম পায়ের অলঙ্কার বা বাম পাঁজর বা ডান চোখ বা বিছানা পড়েছিল বলে জানা যায়।[৫] ভবানীপুর বাংলাদেশ তথা ভারতীয় উপমহাদেশের বিখ্যাত শক্তিপীঠসমূহের মধ্যে অন্যতম। জাতি-ধর্ম-বর্ণ নির্বিশেষে দেশ-বিদেশের ভক্তরা সারা বছর এখানে তীর্থে আসেন।

কথিত আছে যে এখানে একদা একজন শাঁখাওয়ালা (শাঁখা নির্মাতা) ভবানীপুর মন্দিরের ধারের গভীর জঙ্গলের পাশের একটি পুকুরের ধার অতিক্রম করছিলেন। এমন সময় সিঁথিতে সিঁদুর দেয়া একটি ছোট মেয়ে তার কাছে গিয়ে বলেছিল যে সে নাটোর রাজবাড়ির রাজকন্যা। সে শাঁখাওয়ালার কাছ থেকে এক জোড়া শাঁখা কিনল এবং বলল যে শাঁখাওয়ালা যেন নাটোরের মহারাণীকে বলেন যে প্রাসাদের একটি নির্দিষ্ট জায়গায় রাখা ঝুড়ি থেকে তার শাঁখার দাম দিয়ে দেন। শাঁখাওয়ালা মেয়েটির বিনীত কথায় মুগ্ধ হয়ে তাকে শাঁখা দিয়ে দিলেন। শাঁখাওয়ালার মুখ থেকে ছোট মেয়েটির কথা শুনে মহারাণী লোকজন ও সেই শাঁখাওয়ালাকে নিয়ে মেয়েটির বলা জায়গায় গেলেন। শাঁখাওয়ালার প্রার্থনা শুনে মা ভবানী সেই শাঁখা-পুকুর থেকে তার দুই হাতের শাঁখা তুলে দেখালেন। মহারানী ও সেখানে উপস্থিত লোকজন এতে বিস্মিত হলেন এবং মা ভবানীর (মা তারার) মহিমা এই উপমহাদেশে ছড়িয়ে পড়ল।

পরবর্তীতে নাটোর রাজপরিবার থেকে এই পুকুরের সংস্কার করা হয় এবং বর্তমানে এই কিংবদন্তির শাঁখা-পুকুরে তীর্থযাত্রীরা স্নান করেন।

Kherua Mosque | খেরুয়া মসজিদ | Kherua Masjid Sherpur Bogura Kherua Mosque is a very important monument of Bangladesh. This mosque is built by combining Mughal architectural style with pre-Mughal Sultanate period architecture. This mosque, which has survived for about 435 years, is located 20 km south of Bogra town in Khondkar Tola Mahalla of Sherpur Upazila Sadar. History: According to the inscriptions on the front wall of the mosque, it was built in 1582 by Mirza Murad Khan Kakshal, son of Jawahar Ali Kakshal. The title 'Kakshal' was given to the Turks. Ghoraghat region was under Turkish Jagirdars. The identity of Mirza Murad Khan Kakshal is not known. Sherpur was then an administrative center under Ghoraghat. Historians speculate that Mirza Murad Khan Kakshal was the jagirdar or faujdar of Sherpur. The naming of Kherua Mosque is not clear. Abul Kalam Mohammad Zakaria mentioned in his book Antiquities of Bangladesh, "No record of the name of Masjid Kherua has been found. There is no word Kherua in Arabic or Persian.' But in Persian there is a word 'Khair Gah'. Which means 'within a place'. When Raja Mansingh was the Subadar of Bengal, he built a fort at Sherpur. This fort no longer exists. However, if the mosque was built inside the Sherpur fort, then it can be assumed that the name Kherua can be derived from 'Khair Gah Regular prayers are offered in this ancient mosque.
