জীবনে একলা পথ চলতে চলতে যখন হাঁফিয়ে ওঠে মন, শত বাধার দরজা খুলতে মনে হয় থমকে যাওয়ার সময় এলো বুঝি, তখন আমি তাকিয়ে দেখি এক মানবীর দিকে। তার নাম শেখ হাসিনা। তার সমস্ত পরিবারকে হারিয়ে যখন একা এসে দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন সেই নারী, তখন সঙ্গে কেবল বোন শেখ রেহানা; স্বজন বলতে তার দেশ, তার দেশের মানুষ।। শুধু মাত্র সেই দেশ এবং দেশের মানুষকে ভালোবেসে, পরম মমতায়, কোলে তুলে নিয়েছিলেন বাংলাদেশ নাম। সেই নারী, আমার অনুপ্রেরণা, একা জীবন পথে হেঁটে চলার মন্ত্রে পরম শক্তির জায়গা। শুধু মনে হয়, পরিজনের ভালোবাসা হারিয়ে, একা সেই লৌহমানবী যদি পারেন সব বাধা অতিক্রম করতে, আমি কেন পারবো না? বুকে তার বাংলাদেশ নামের অপ্রতিরোধ্য স্বপ্ন, আঁচল ভরা মমত্ব। শত ষড়যন্ত্রে ও আটকে রাখা যায় না এমন হার না মানা এক মন। বিশ্বের মাঝে বাংলাদেশ এক আশার নাম হবে, এই প্রতিজ্ঞায় প্রতিজ্ঞাবদ্ধ হয়ে একাই এগিয়ে চলেছে সে। চোখ ভিজে আসে... গলা দিয়ে ফুটে বেরোয় আত্মপ্রত্যয়ী জয়গান।। তারপর যখন চোখ মেলে দেখি বর্তমান, চেয়ে দেখি বিশ্ব মাঝে আমার বাংলার উজ্জ্বল নাম, পদ্মা সেতু ধরে পাড় হয়ে যাই বিশ্বের মাঝে, যেখানেই থাকি সবুজ বাংলা আমার বুকের মাঝে থাকে, আর যে নামটা সব সময় জেগে থাকে, তা আমার দেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রী, বঙ্গবন্ধু কন্যা শেখ হাসিনার নাম।। আজ তার জন্মদিনে তাকে জানাই আমার অফুরান শ্রদ্ধার্ঘ্য।। এমন করেই আলো হয়ে থাকুন, আশা হয়ে থাকুন আমাদের মননে, বাংলাদেশ নামে যেন আপনার হাত ধরেই স্বপ্ন দেখতে পারি আমরা আজীবন।।

জন্মদিনে প্রার্থনা করি, আপনার মতোন যেন আরেকজন জন্ম নেয় এই ধরায়... ভালোবাসা
