আত্মা হলো কোনো জীবের অংশ যা কোনো শরীর নয়। দেহ যখন জীবিত থাকে, তখন এর ভেতরে একটি আত্মা থাকে। আত্মা But in this case, the explanation of science is different.

আত্মা বলতে সাধারণ অর্থে এমন এক সত্ত্বাকে বোঝানো হয়, যারা অদৃশ্য এবং মানুষের শরীর ভিতরে বা স্বাধীনভাবে বসবাস করে। তবে এক্ষেত্রে বিজ্ঞানের ব্যাখ্যা ভিন্ন। বিজ্ঞান আত্মার অস্তিত্বের প্রতি বিশ্বাস করে না। বিজ্ঞানের মতে এটি মানুষের কল্পনা বা অনুভূতি। পবিত্র কুরআন বলে-

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا- وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ دَسَّاهَا- (الشمس 9-10)

‘সফল হয় সেই ব্যক্তি যে তার আত্মাকে পরিশুদ্ধ করে’। ‘এবং ব্যর্থ

হয় সেই ব্যক্তি যে তার আত্মাকে কলুষিত করে’ (সুরা শামস্ ৯১/৯-১০)।
Soul is generally understood as an entity, which is invisible and resides inside or independently of the human body. Science does not believe in the existence of soul. According to science it is human imagination or feeling. The Holy Quran says: قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا- وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ دَسَّاهَا- (الشمس 9-10) 'Successful is he who purifies his soul'. 'And failed is he who pollutes his soul' (Surah Shams 91/9-10).

১০০০ টাকার নোট প্রথম ছাপানো হয় ২০০৮ সালে। ২০০৮ সালে ২২ ক্যারেট স্বর্ণের ভরির দাম ছিলো ২৬০০০ টাকা (প্রায়)। অর্থাৎ আপনি ২০০৮ সালে ২৬ টি ১০০০ টাকার নোট দিয়ে এক ভরি স্বর্ণ পেতেন।

আজকে ২২ ক্যারেট স্বর্ণের ভরির দাম ১০৮০০০ টাকা (প্রায়)। অর্থাৎ আজকে আপনাকে ১০৮ টি ১০০০ টাকার নোট লাগবে এক ভরি স্বর্ণ কিনতে।

এবার আসুন এই ১০০০ টাকার মান এখন কত ?
২৬০০০ ÷ ২৬ = ১০০০ টাকা
২৬০০০ ÷ ১০৮ = ২৪০.৭৪ টাকা

অর্থাৎ আপনার ২০০৮ সালের ১০০০ টাকার নোটটির আজকের মূল্য ২৪০.৭৪ টাকা।

এখানে চালাকি করে বলা হয় যে স্বর্ণের দাম বেড়েছে। আমি বা আপনিও সেটা ধরে নিই। কিন্তু প্রকৃত ব্যাপার হলো আমাদের পকেটের/ব্যাংকের টাকার মূল্যমান কমেছে। যা আমাদের বুঝতে দেওয়া হয়না এবং আমরাও বুঝি না।

স্বর্ণ ১ ভরি, ১ ভরিই আছে।
কিন্তু ২৬টা ১০০০ টাকার নোট থেকে বেড়ে ১০৮টা ১০০০ টাকার নোটে পরিণত হয়েছে।

বিদ্যুতস্পৃষ্ট হয়ে মারা যাওয়া একটা ছোট্ট বাচ্চাকে পানি থেকে মাছ তোলার মতো তুলে নিলেন এক লোক—দৃশ্যটা যতোবার সামনে এলো, ততোবারই শরীরটা অবশ হয়ে এসেছে।

কেমন পোঁকামাকড়ের জীবন এখানে আমাদের! পুড়ে মরা, ডুবে মরা, বিদ্যুত-স্পর্শে মরা, না খেয়ে মরাই যেনো নিয়তি। চারপাশে শোক আর কান্নার মহোৎসব! কারো কোনো দায় নেই, কারো কোনো রা নেই।
