The Aebyss Portal promotes music, concerts and festivals via radio programming and its web presence.

The Aebyss Portal began 16 years ago when three metalheads decided to do more for heavy metal than just be fans. It began first as an ISV radio show in 1998, then a year later, TheAebyssPortal.com went online. Some years later, the trio began working with Radio Sarajevo (one of the largest radio stations in Sarajevo) welcoming three more members, a cooperation that continues to this day. The Aebys

s Portal deals mainly with traditional, thrash, progressive, death, black, and groove metal bands, but also extends focus to hard rock and hardcore bands. In addition to promoting bands, The Aebyss Portal also supports local, regional, and international festivals. Related labels:

Omar Krasnić, the artist that made The Aebyss Album of the Year sculptures died

It is with utter disbelief and completely broken hearts that we received the news that Omar Krasnić passed away on Thursday, August 11, being only 44 years old.

Omar was not just an amazing artist who created and sculpted the awards that we gave the winning bands, but was also a friend, a brother and a true Sarajevo original.
He was unique in so many ways and will be truly missed.

Farewell brother, may we meet again!
