There has been a problem with gas supplies from Azerbaijan to Serbia and Bulgaria. Reports about this has been circulating in the European media.

It was reported that this was caused by problems in the Shah Deniz field.

APA-Economics has sent an inquiry to BP Azerbaijan about the issue. The company said that the Bravo platform in the Shah Deniz gas-condensate field is operating at full capacity.

Tamam Bayatli, head of the press service of BP-Azerbaijan, said that there are no problems with the platform.

"We encountered a technical problem in the subsea condensate pipeline between the Alfa platform and the Sangachal terminal. For this reason, we had to stop the platform. The platform, the people there, and other related facilities are completely safe," Tamam Bayatly noted.

It was noted within the framework of the meeting, current issues of the bilateral agenda were discussed and the details of the planned official visit of Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili to Azerbaijan were touched upon. It was noted that the parties also discussed the holding of the next - 10th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Georgia on Economic Cooperation in Baku in the coming days.

Volodymyr Zelensky briefed US incumbent President Joe Biden "on his strategic planning in the war" against Russia during a telephone conversation on Friday, the White House press service said in a statement, APA reports citing TASS.

On his part, Biden updated Zelensky "on US efforts to surge support to Ukraine and strengthen its position vis-а-vis Russia," the press service of the US administration said. "Over the past several months, the United States has delivered hundreds of thousands of artillery rounds, thousands of rockets, hundreds of armored vehicles, and other critical capabilities to Ukrainian forces. In addition, today the United States announced a comprehensive sanctions package against the Russian energy sector," the statement reads.

Aykhan Hajizada, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, responded to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, APA reports.

"So what does all these really mean? Mr. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, let your deeds speak louder than words. Interestingly, your “peace-loving narrative” avoids the most important pillar of establishing lasting peace and stability in the region, which is the respect of territorial integrity and sovereignty of states. If Armenia indeed is interested in building peace with its neighbors, why do you, by all means, refuse and decline to start the process of renouncing the claims to territories you all call as “Western Armenia” and “Nagorno Karabakh Republic,” as enshrined within your Constitution and national legislation? "On November 7, 2024, the vessels “CMS Pəhləvan,” “CMS İgid,” and “CMS-3,” sailing under the state flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan and operated by a branch of the Caspian Marine Services B.V. company in the Republic of Azerbaijan, were forced to enter the territorial waters of the State of Eritrea due to deteriorating weather conditions while traveling from the Suez Canal to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates," Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Aykhan Hajizada told APA.

Although prior contact was made with the port authorities of the State of Eritrea, it was not possible to provide information. After entering the 12-mile territorial waters of the State of Eritrea, the relevant authority of the State emphasized that the entry was unauthorized, and the mentioned vessels were detained. Among the crew members on the listed vessels, 18 are citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The letter reads:

"Mr. President,

I received with deep sorrow the news about the crash of the aircraft belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines in Kazakhstan, resulting in the loss of 38 lives.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to you and the people of Azerbaijan and express my solidarity. My thoughts are with those who have lost their family members and loved ones. I wish the injured a swift and full recovery and hope the investigation into the causes of this tragedy will be concluded soon."
