Hunting dog "Tank" stolen from property – Tarcoon Road, Bourke - Central North Police District
Rural Crime Investigators from Bourke are investigating the theft of a 5-year-old Mastiff x Dane male dog, brindle in colour, that answers to the name “Tank” (pictured).
Tank was stolen from a Tarcoon Road property between the 7.00pm on Monday the 15th of July and 6.30am Tuesday the 16th of July this year, from an enclosed yard. A gate was found to be opened overnight near the enclosed yard and Rural Crime Investigators have been examining the scene and canvassing the area.
The Rural Crime Prevention Team are also investigating illegal hunting and trespassing offences in recent times on that property, and neighbouring properties 60 kilometres south-east of Bourke and possible links to the theft.
