For the uninitiated, progressive rock is a sub-genre of rock music emanating from the U.K. in the mid-to-late 60s and 70s. Each week John brings in a varied selection of old and new releases, along with the latest news. It’s been stated that prog is a state of mind. In our view, it’s the combining of disparate elements, influences and genres that define prog. In broad strokes, it’s music that’s intelligent, subversive and colourful.
