🙋♀️PARENTS PRACTICE DAY 🙋
Atten Parents and Carers of our NCA Junior Competitors, this one is for you!
The NCA would like to invite you for an afternoon of training in the following areas:
🔹Handling Livestock - manoeuvring livestock through a yard, the race and into a chute (and learning what all these things mean)
🔹Animal Welfare - understanding the basics around Animal Welfare, particularly related to the sport of Rodeo
🔹Chute Protocol - helping your junior prepare for their buck out, setting riding ropes and other riding protection gear
This training is about giving you some experience and exposure, not at all about handing over the responsibility. We want you to feel comfortable and confident behind the chutes on Rodeo day and most importantly enjoy being part of the sport and supporting your junior! 🤠
Thanks to Casey Townsend and Ian Bradford we will have real live animals available to use for this exercise and the NCA Junior equipment will be available.
To register your interest please comment your name below or send us a private message to our page.
Please be sure to wear your western attire or long pants, long sleeves, wide brimmed hat and enclosed shoes. Don't forget your water bottle.
There will be a free sausage sizzle to follow, with enough time to have a chat with the NCA Committee about all things Rodeo! 🌭
We look forward to seeing you all there! :)
