The National Committee of Management of MHAA® wish to remind Members and non Members if they are buying a Horse and they want to check if it is MHAA® registered to ask the seller to show a copy of BOTH sides of the Registration Certificate; this way it can be checked if the Horse is currently registered with MHAA® and whose name the Horse is registered in.
We also wish to confirm that unless a signed Transfer Form is received from the current owner of a Horse in the MHAA® database, we are unable to Transfer a Horse into another person’s name. It should also be noted that the person signing the Transfer Form does not have to be a current Financial Member of MHAA®.
We also confirm that we are unable to adjudicate between any arrangement made between a buyer and a seller, irrespective if they are Members or non Members of MHAA®.

I would like to send seasons greetings to all our members & wish you all a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from us all on National Committee.
Recent times have been very challenging however I believe together we can start looking forward to a better future for all.
We as members of the Miniature Horse Association of Australia have a strong common bond, our very special miniature horses.
I'm sure we all became involved initially with horses for many & varied reasons, however once we did we all become responsible as their guardians to care for, nurture & promote them at every opportunity to anyone interested in these wonderful little equines.
Let's gets back to those basic principals, put the horses first every time and together celebrate their enormous talents and abilities and promote them at every chance we get to allow more to become involved with these incredible horses Margaret Lawson

... Due to the continued restrictions and lockdowns in several States and the number of Members who are experiencing difficulties submitting paperwork due to a variety of reason. So that we can assist Members we have extended the closing date of Stallion Breeding Reports (Stallion Returns) until 31 August 2021. Members have been sent an E-News in regards to this. If anyone has any queries or has not received the E-News please contact Barb Voysey or email [email protected] Take care everyone stay Covid safe ... by staying apart today .. we can be together tomorrow !!
