Perth Glory will have to do it the hard way if they are to survive relegation from the NPLWA.

The Glory will face Mandurah City over two-legs with the winner taking on the winner of Dianella and Murdoch Uni Melville.

The playoff final will be played at the Sam Kerr Football Centre.

A really lovely guy and great referee, sad news today.

RIP

Football West would like to join the WA football community in expressing our condolences to the family and friends of Liviu Katona, who has died after a long illness.

Liviu, aged 40, was a Football West referee who was well respected among the wider football community and among his fellow referees.

Liviu was a regular attendee at referee training and coaching nights. He was known as a caring and supportive referee who took the time to engage with others.

Match officials will wear black armbands this weekend as a mark of respect for Liviu.

Today we would like to celebrate our clubs current longest serving player an absolute Baysie Legend , Mr Baysie himself in Jason Mirco as he celebrates his 250th game for the club!

Celebrating this milestone at any level and in a entire career is an achievement , but to do this at one club is a true testament to human qualities of a true Baysie Icon

Jason joined us from Sorrento in early March 2016 and was instantly a club favourite to staff and supporters alike with his well-manicured weekly trim and his infectious personality.

Fondly known as “Mircs” he hit the ground running in his first season at the club with his trademark marauding runs down the wing and set piece delivery taking out the clubs top goal scorer , players player and the Rocco D’Orazio medal in a clean sweep of all awards.
Mircs won the 2017 Night Series ,2017 Top 4 and of course our famous final day victory to be crowned the 2017 NPL Champions .
In his time at Baysie Mircs has won almost every trophy and award on offer but this is not the only legacy that
Jason will leave behind, in his 9 seasons and 250 games Mircs will always be the embodiment of what it truly means to be a Baysie Boy, we could not have asked for a better and more loyal role model for the future generation of our club!

Mircs you are a shining ornament to our club and we will forever be grateful for the time, dedication and genuine affection you have shown in your time at the club!
Your love and passion for our club is something that we are so very proud of .

We love you Mircs and long may your reign in black and blue continue!

New TC appointed for Stirling Macedonia FC with Dom Gangemi now at the Glory.

Stirling Lions SC is delighted to announce the appointment of our new Junior Technical Director, Fadi Maayah.

Fadi will oversee our Stirling Lions junior football program, including MiniRoos and Junior Development League (JDL) teams, and will integrate our junior program with our NPL youth team

Fadi holds an AFC A Diploma and has completed a PhD. in sports science. He is also a university lecturer in this field.

With over 30 years of experience in the development of junior players and coaches, Fadi has been instrumental in establishing Specialist Football Programmes at several secondary schools in Perth. He has also served as Technical Director at various other NPL junior clubs in WA.

In addition to his extensive work with junior players, Fadi has coached several senior teams and currently coaches the WA Para team.

We are thrilled to welcome Fadi to our coaching team for 2025 and wish him every success in his new role.
