Welcome to Winter! What a fantastic season it's going to be here in beautiful Ballarat!

Winter begins with a bang tomorrow night with White Night lighting up the historic centre of our city. This Sunday 28 April 3pm at Wendouree Centre For Performing Arts. Ballarat actor and professional clown Japer Foley is presenting his latest show for one date only in Ballarat before taking it on tour internationally.

A fool is born in the sky! He plunges to Earth, and hatches from an Egg! Can he build a tower tall enough to reach the place he came from, or will he be consumed by the shadows that pursue him from below? One thing is certain. You. Will. Laugh.

Up Up Up Up Up is a multi-medium, music and mayhem spectacular which will take the audience on an upward journey, pursued by a shadowy demon, climbing a tower of eggshells towards a familiar place somewhere close to the sky, full of music and light! The show touches on themes of balance, control and loss of control, chaos and order, ambition and aspiration, transcendence, failure, and death. But don’t let all that fool you. It’s idiotically funny, and stupidly fun!

Jasper will be joined by 'Tsinskaro', Melbourne's leading Georgian Polyphonic singing quartet. From jaw-dropping Svanetian harmonies to intricate Kakhetian melodies and soul-lifting Adjaran tunes, their performances aim to honour the incredibly rich musical traditions of this ancient culture, on the crossroads of East and West.
