One can only hope that Australians won't second guess their weekly shopping or social outings with friends and family in the future and our way of life and innocence won't change due to fear.

Floral tributes have been placed at the entry of Bronte Beach after a man “Jamie” was taken by the sea following an evening swim on Sunday 10th March 2024.

Emergency services responded to Maroubra beach this evening after they received a report that a man had not returned to shore after swimming at dusk.

The Ambulance rescue helicopter searched the coastline whilst Surf Life Saving NSW volunteers worked with police and paramedics in a ground / shoreline search.

The man was finally located at his home and all services were stood down.

Two people are in hospital following a pedestrian crash in Rose Bay this morning.

At around 9.00am today, emergency services responded to the pedestrian crossing outside of Bunnings on Old South Head Rd.
Two people were assessed for various injuries and transported to hospital in a stable condition.

A driver was questioned by police. The road was closed for around an hour whilst investigations took place.

Police would like you speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
