Twenty fckn Yardstocks hey?

So stoked to see all of your faces, young and old, first timers and YS veterans alike, all enjoying yourselves in the lovely backyards of Hami Hill.

Huge love to the folks who donated their yards: Madeleine, Cam, Saurav and Stu at the first yard; Ariel and Paul at the second; Alberto and his housemates at the third; and Jake at the fourth. Without yards there is no Yardstock so big big respect to them and their neighbours!

My sincere thanks and appreciation to all of the legendary bands that played: Madeleine Antoine (with Cam Potts and Fausto Butta); Dave Watkins AKA Fair Weathers; Ruby Pettit; Sweat; Love Shovel; Rat Salad; Lonesome Dove; Paige Valentine; Grub; Mood Punch; Last Quokka; and Scratching. Being an independent artist is fckn hard, especially in this town, you're always broke and rarely get much love so please please please go support local music. The whole point of Yardstock is demonstrating that we can do this s**t (and ultimately everything) ourselves: radical self/collective responsibility + havin a rad fckn time in the process.

While it may be a little while until the next Yardstock I've got a few other shows in mind, so follow Stock Records and keep ya ear to the ground.

The face of Stock Records, Brahma, needs your support.

Brahma is genuinely my best friend, I can't really put into words how significant he is for me.

It's really, really difficult for me to ask for help. But I've spent 17k in the last two weeks and have no other options but to ask for help.

I'm hopeful he'll be okay but really need some support in order to afford treatment.

Currently, 100% of proceeds will be diverted privately to a women’s centre in Gaza with funds being used to distribute dignity kits directly to displaced women and families there.

Local DIY thrash pack, No Rego, releases one time shed recording, Rip n’ Riff, after appropriate period of mourning, following unexpected death of best mate and bass player Riley Ashton.

It's punchy, riff heavy, left wing garage punk, with bombastic female vocals, and melodic guitar solos. A wrecking ball of mayhem destruction that's heartfelt, and hardcore.

All proceeds from the sale of this album go to the Disrupt The Burrup campaign to support their incredible activism to protect murujuga.
