Take some time out today to care for your body - your mind and soul will also thank you!!!
This morning, for me, that looked like a lovely long walk in the sunshine (before the rain sets in!) and a yoga session with . Such a beautiful way to clear the mind, chat to God and move my body.
My body and I have not had the best relationship (I’ve said some pretty mean things to her over the years!) but I am learning to choose to be thankful for my body and what she can do instead of hating on her and wishing she were different. I’m pretty sure this is a lifelong journey but am super thankful to be in a place of freedom and gratitude right now rather than the alternative. My prayer is that you will be able to find the freedom to love and care for yourself too ❤️

It’s been a while! But I felt prompted to share this this morning so someone out there must need to hear this - myself included!
Have you taken time yet this year to be still? I mean really still. No scrolling. No phone. No Netflix. No to do list. No busy. Intentional time just to sit and be still. To stop. To think. To dream. To pray. To listen. To hear. To notice.
No? Then maybe let that be a little challenge for sometime over the next week. Schedule in a date with nature. Give yourself the gift of stillness and the beautiful fruits that can come from it. Peace. Joy. Gratitude. Clarity. Direction.

Anybody else out there battle a busy, worry-prone mind?!? It’s so easy for our brains to become a tangled mess of fear & anxiety. Especially now.
This is the verse that I play on repeat in my brain whenever fear or anxiety starts to get a hold of me. Fear is no match for God’s perfect love. There is such peace and joy and freedom to be found in that truth!
The mind can be such a battleground!!! How do you combat fear and anxiety?!? We’d love to hear what you find helpful! xox

Just remember, we can’t pour from an empty cup - no matter how much we try to!!!
So go and do something that fills you up - go for a walk, read a good book, chat to a friend, listen to your favourite tunes, have a hot bath … the options are limitless! Sometimes the kindest thing we can do for others, is to take the time to be kind to ourselves ❤️
