Anyone else watching the Neighbours finale? I don’t think I have watched it in about 30 years but I watched the first episode in 1985 so thought I should watch the last. A little bit cheesy and I have absolutely no idea what is going on 😂 but good to see cameos from Mike, Harold, Izzy, Shane, Clive and Malcolm Kennedy so far!

In my youth Kate Bush was a big musical artist I loved. Wuthering Heights was a classic Kate Bush song and it was always a challenge to see who could reach the high notes in all of her songs without calling dogs from the local neighbourhood with a high pitch scream. I have always been tempted to take part in ‘The most wuthering heights day ever’ ( usually taking place in July) but I think the weather always puts me off having to dress in Kate’s red dress she wore in the film clip. Today I heard her song ‘Running up that hill’ has made a comeback in the UK and Australia making it to number 8 in the UK charts and is on track to be the number 1 single this week in Australia.
All this is apparently thanks to an episode of Stranger Things! Love that movie/tv soundtracks can make old songs new again…

I have been eyeing off Pinot & Picasso Newcastle for a while so I booked with one of my girlfriends for a girls Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately her son got covid so another friend jumped in and we had a wonderful time. Today’s theme was paint your pet so I thought it was the perfect chance to capture my boy who passed away last year at 18 years of age. I’m very creative and can do most creative things but art is not my forte. Painting and drawing is soooo hard

Gulp! I’ve just spent a shed load of money enrolling in this course from Surface Pattern Design with Bonnie Christine Bonnie Christine. The US conversion made me gag a little but I have been thinking for the last 12 months in a change of career. I’m a marketer which can be creativity limiting so needed something I could pour my creative brain in to. I’m hoping patern design is it! Can’t wait to start this course on the 28th! Will keep you posted…Anyone else wanting a career change at this moment in time?

Today I went to The Bath House Garden open day in Oakhampton Heights. It was the most tranquil and beautiful place. Reminded me of a smaller version of Hunter Valley Gardens and apparently when Farmer Wants A wife first started, a lot of it was filmed here.
