Hey I’m @jenstockwell_ follow for travel tips & digital nomad inspo.
Recently I was just in Kuala Lumpur, for 4 days. It was my first time in this incredible city, and loved it so much. See my top 4 best activities below!
**Plus find out why the steps to this unbelievable cave are multi-coloured and who the gold person is at the front!!! 🤪⬇️
Ok so I booked a tour with @getyourguide on one of the days. Honestly best value for money, especially in KL. It was 57RM (USD$11/ AUD$18) for the whole afternoon. Met some cool people and made new friends. Did the Batu Caves with the tour in the arvo, but everything else on my own.
So here’s my top 4, best activities;
1. Batu Caves
The Batu Caves are this awesome spot in Malaysia with these cool limestone caves and Hindu temples. Picture this: the big golden statue of Lord Murugan greeting you at the entrance. How’s it going! 👋🙏
Lord Murugan is known as the God of War and Victory. People dig worshipping him for strength, courage, and all the good vibe stuff.
And why are the steps multicoloured?
So, the steps to Batu Caves got a serious makeover – think less stairway to heaven, more like a staircase to a unicorn disco party! The Malaysian government decided, “why not make climbing caves a colourful cardio workout?”
Now, those steps are so vibrant, even the rainbows envy them. 🌈🦄
2. Skybox, KL Tower
The Skybox in the KL Tower in Kuala Lumpur is a thrilling glass cube observation deck that extends from the Sky Deck.
TIP: Go first thing in the morning to ensure you miss the crowds and get the best spot for photos 📸🤳
3. Petronas Towers
The Petronas Towers are iconic twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They held the title of the world’s tallest buildings from 1998 to 2004.
4. Food
The food - yes I count as an activity in itself 😌 Every time I go somewhere new I love exploring the local cafes and restaurants. Being veg

These 3 nearby islands south of Phuket are absolute hidden gems that you have to see and add to your itinerary!
Hey I’m @jenstockwell_ Aussie digital nomad, currently based in Phuket Thailand, follow me for your best SE Asia travel tips ✌️
The best part of travelling to these islands is that you can get a private tour guide on a long boat, this trip cost my friend and I only 2500bht (AU$100 total / $50each) for the day.
Booking the tour you can ask the locals at Rawai beach, all are pretty neg. on price and love to barter, we started at 4k and brought it down to 2.5k.
These islands included:
📍1. Potato Island, Phuket, Thailand
This island is located just infront of the popular Nai Harn beach, which is perfect for snorkeling 🤿 The water is calm, crystal clear with plenty of fish, starfish, crabs and other beautiful marine life. (The next trip I’ll take my underwater phone case so I can show you, it really is super magical).
Travel tip: wearing plastic sandles can help make you more buoyant and your less likely to cut your feet on barnicles when coming out the water and exploring the island.
📍 2. Buddha Island, Phuket, Thailand
Buddha island also known as Ko Kaeo Island, is super unique with incredible Buddha statues around the island which are enormous in size. It also has lots of beautiful photo spots and fun things to do with swings, straw huts and beautiful views.
📍3. Ko Bon Island
Ko Bon Island is absolutely stunning with pristine white sand and crystal clear turquoise water just 2km off the beach from Rawai. This island is a little more popular but still not as touristy as you might expect. You can enjoy a cheeky beer or coconut on the beach whilst relaxing on the deck chairs soaking up the sunshine 🥥🏝️
Have you been to any of these islands or do you she’s any favourites in Thailand? What’s your favourite and why or where do you want to see most? Let me know ⬇️

Here ⬇️ the 7th one will blow your mind 🤯
If you’re planning a trip to Nusa Lembongan, knowing what the best things to do and see whilst uncovering interesting facts, I believe is the secret to ensuring you get the most out of your trip!
So where is it?
Nusa Lembongan is an island located southeast of Bali, Indonesia. It takes just a short 30minute speedboat ride to get there and if you’re going out of the wet season, the swell isn’t too bad either! (Says me who often gets the worst sea sickness ever).
Nusa Lembongan is part of a group of three islands that make up the Nusa Penida district, of which include; Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Ceningan - known together as the “Nusa Islands”.
Nusa simply means “island” in Indonesia so if you see this word, you’ll know it’s an area surrounded by water.
So where are your best spots to go?
My top 7 recommendations are the following, with the 7th a one a must visit!
1. Yellow Bridge
2. Mangrove Forest
3. Seaweed Farm
4. Dreamtime Beach
5. Mahagiri Beach
6. Devil’s Tear
7. Crystal Bay*
*Crystal Bay is actually in Nusa Penida, however if you’re doing a snorkelling trip your boat will leave from Nusa Lembongan and take you to several spots. Crystal Bay was my favourite with the clearest water, lots of fish and turtles! You can also see manta rays at Manta Bay another incredible spot!
I hope you enjoy Nusa Lembongan as much as I did!
You can book this incredible island adventure tour with @getyourguide

This is one island you absolutely cannot miss in your lifetime!
📍 Boracay Island, The Philippines
Boracay not only has the bluest water imaginable in the whole of The Philippines, but the beaches are so clean, the people are so friendly and there are so many fun things to do!
I was in the Philippines a couple weeks ago for 10 days with my friend Sina, loved every minute and already want to go back again. I’ve got so many more videos and moments from here that I’m so excited to share with you in some of my next reels 😎
Yes getting to the Philippines and to each of the islands can be a mission. When coming to Boracay, you’ll generally have to fly into Manila, then jump on a small plane to Caticlan, then get a ferry, then get a cab and then get a tuk tuk. 😮💨
Once you’re there though it is totally worth it and it’s an absolute dream destination. With so many tours, snorkelling and swimming spots, beaches, water activities and incredible sunsets at Boracay Island you’ll have more fun than you could ever imagine.
Will I be back, yes 100%.
Now I’m currently in LA, exploring, networking, smashing goals then onto New York in a couple of weeks!! 🚀

How to sail around Phuket, Thailand?👇 3 sailing options for every budget 🛥️
I think the best part of being in Phuket, Thailand is being able to jump on a boat just about every weekend and end up at a new island or dreamlike paradise 🏝️
And it doesn’t have to cost a fortune 👍
So what boats are available? I’ll share 3 based on approx. 8-10 people
Here’s 3 popular options to sail away from Phuket:
1. Luxury boat ‘Sandey’
2. Catamaran
3. Long tail boat
1. Your luxury boat ‘Sandey’, as seen in this reel with a bar, spa and water activities will cost approx. 4k bht each (AU$160pp) for the day + BYO 😏🥂We cruised over to Coral Island did some snorkelling, standup paddle boarding and found a bar on the beach (not that we needed it) 🤪 had a great time celebrating Mimi’s bday
2. You can also book a catamaran, still super nice but not as lux. This will set you back about 2k bht (AU$85pp). That is another great boat you can enjoy which also takes you to Coral island (I’ve been to this island 4x now, you’ll understand why when you go)!
3. I also absolutely love the Thai style longboats too. They are so cheap, you can do 3 islands and book the whole boat for 3k bht or between 5-6 just 500bht (AU$20pp). The islands are so close and only take about 15-30mins there
**Side note**I get extremely sea sick, however I haven’t been ill at all going to these nearby islands. Phi phi though on a previous trip was a different story, and wouldn’t recommend going during a storm.. like, dah 🤦🏼♀️
**travel tip** How to find friends if you’re alone or as a couple?
A: Smile at everyone you meet, wherever you are and just say hello. You’ll be surprised at how much a small encounter can go such along way. The smallest gesture of kindness to help someone out, give a compliment or ask where they’re from could make a new friendship, connection or opportunity you may not have realised.
I’ve found the best connections have

10x your ROAS with Google Ads.. Here's how ⬇️
Imagine a magical ATM where every 1 dollar you put in, it gives you back 2 dollars.
Now imagine every 1 dollar you put in, it gives you 10 dollars.
Sounds like magic, right? But it’s not.
This is the power of maximising your ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) with strategic paid advertising.
If you're finding it challenging to boost your Google Ads performance, it might be time to switch things up.
Try testing each of the following 9 different campaign objectives so you can identify which campaign will give you the best ROAS.
**Google ad tip** Each campaign is optimised to serve a specific purpose which is ideally suited for different stages of the customer journey. Keep this in mind when creating your ad campaign strategy.
Test the different campaign objectives and explore the average to exceptional benchmarks for your ROAS goals listed below and see the endless possibilities of what you can achieve.
ROAS GOALS:
- General Benchmark: A typical ROAS benchmark is between 4:1 and 6:1. This means for every dollar spent on ads, you should generate $4 to $6 in revenue.
- Exceptional ROAS: A ROAS of 10:1 or higher is considered exceptional, showing that the ads are driving significant revenue compared to the ad spend.
Have you explored some of these other Google ad campaign objectives? What's worked best for you or what's been your biggest challenge?

Biggest hidden waterfalls in Bali 👇 Send to your travel buddy.
If you love exploring the incredible rainforests and jungles of Bali, you can’t miss the biggest waterfall here:
📍 Sekumpul Waterfall, North Bali
**Plus see my top 6 tips below to make the most out of your Bali waterfall adventure**
A 2hr drive north of Ubud + a 30min scooter ride + a 1hr hike with 365 stairs, several river crossings and friendly spiders the size of your head.. you’ll end up at these incredible waterfalls. Yes there’s actually several here and it’s 100% worth the trek!
Sekumpul is the biggest waterfall in Bali at 100m high. It’s much more magnificent, peaceful and not as touristy as most of the other waterfalls you’ll find near Ubud.
Just a short walk around the corner and deeper into the Bali rainforest you’ll find 3 other waterfalls, all just as magnificent! The beauty and serenity of these waterfalls really makes you feel as if you’re in a dream!
So how can you see these incredible waterfalls without any people? Here’s my top tips for exploring;
1. Go out of season or mid week, not on weekends. I went on a Tuesday.
2. Go early in the morning before peak hour, not in the afternoon. You’ll also avoid the traffic.
3. Go when it’s raining! I don’t know why a bit of water scares people away but waterfalls are actually best on rainy days!! Thank the rain gods 🙏
4. Book a private tour. I did this tour by myself, booked a driver for the day and he also booked me a local tour guide who was the best!
5. Ask your guide to take lots of photos and videos, (and don’t forget to tip, they will go above and beyond to help).
6. Don’t forget to dance in the rain, it makes it just that little bit more fun!! 🤪
Have you been to Sekumpul waterfall? Or what’s your favourite waterfall in Bali? Let me know! ⬇️
