Meet Bertie, Forest, Snugglepot and Alyssa. These adorable koala joeys have sadly been orphaned, but with the right support they're getting a second chance! Until they're old enough to return to the wild near where they were rescued, they need some special care. In addition to a tailored milk formula, they need a selection of fresh eucalyptus leaves each day.

Singer/songwriter Andrea Kirwin and soul/Jazz/RnB artist Angela Newcomb have started a non-audition Q***r Choir on the Sunshine Coast! They meet during the school term on Tuesday evenings 6-7.15pm at Kureelpa Hall and will be doing the occasional pop-up gig in the future.

Our Story
The award-winning Hinterland Times is a monthly newspaper reflecting the creative diversity of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and its communities.
Distributed across the range, with 14,000 print copies and a strong Facebook presence, the HT entertains and informs residents and tourists from Maleny to Glasshouse to Palmwoods, plus tourist spots on the coast.
Regular sections include features on local events and identities, community notices, local restaurant guide, local gallery trail, health and well-being sections, and Creative Cuts, sharing what is happening on the music and arts scene.
In 2018, the HT introduced ‘Poets’ Corner’ - a page for poets across the hinterland to share their work, which has proved hugely popular. In 2019 the paper created created the Hinterland Times Young Writer of the Year Award to encourage and support younger writers across the Range.
The Hinterland Times prides itself on celebrating the good, encouraging creativity and keeping an open mind, whilst championing and supporting the community through a high-quality and visually appealing publication.
