To catch you up, the Herald Sun just had a little quip that WAG Chelsea Becirevic's move to SA is to “settle for the low-energy lifestyle of the City of Churches”. And hey, my colleagues and I all just rolled our eyes and smiled at the poor misconception and were about to move on with our fast-paced, happy lives but then we thought, perhaps this is a great opportunity to get a fresh must-do list for our great state . . .

Peter Malinauskas South Australian Tourism Commission The Advertiser

Dear Chelsea, if you were to have read the Herald Sun you may be wondering if your move to Adelaide is a winner. Haven’t read it yet as you’re too busy dreaming of hitting the best beaches in the world here in SA? We totally understand.

Happy Nurses Day! To all our health heroes but especially this trailblazer, now retired, who trekked from Victoria with her best mate Jenni Wall to Burra all those years ago, worked her way up to Director of Nursing for the whole region (Burra, Clare, Snowtown). A true inspiration. Love you mum ❤️

Sometimes you get a Christmas miracle where everyone is smiling and looking at the camera. And sometimes you don’t. And either way, a special memory is made.

How SA floods will look if they hit 160GL/day . . .

Huge amounts of water from the devastating floods interstate are expected to flow downstream, causing possibly the worst flooding the Riverland has seen in 50 years.

A role model for our children is in the headlines after over another disgusting outburst. Is this what sport is about now? My latest The Advertiser column:

I’m the first to admit a little white line fever – once I understood the term wasn’t an accusation of being a coke head but rather an Australian sporting term to describe the radical change in a person’s behaviour when they start playing sports, aka when they step over the ‘white line’.
