We exist to help women in media learn, contribute, and connect.

Women in Media SA thrives as a result of the tremendous work of our volunteers.

To support women in media by:

* upskilling and providing access to resources through mentoring, industry programs and events
* encouraging members to give back and act as mentors
* collaborating with other media industry bodies and organisations

OUR HISTORY
Women in Media launched in WA in July 2005 and has since expanded to every state and territory. Our Inaugural co-patrons were Caroline Jones and Victoria Laurie.

And hey, my colleagues and I all just rolled our eyes and smiled at the poor misconception and were about to move on with our fast-paced, happy lives but then we thought, perhaps this is a great opportunity to get a fresh must-do list for our great state . . .

Happy Nurses Day! To all our health heroes but especially this trailblazer, now retired, who trekked from Victoria with her best mate Jenni Wall to Burra all those years ago, worked her way up to Director of Nursing for the whole region (Burra, Clare, Snowtown). A true inspiration. Love you mum ❤️
