I could’ve told this entire story within the confines of the dancefloor. But the dancefloor pumped until the sun came up, and I needed a nanna nap. There’s no right or wrong way to do your wedding, it simply should reflect who you are, and what is important to you both. This was exactly that.

Avoid being linear when capturing a wedding. The first picture is my favourite out of this recent gallery, because it happened in a split second, in a little of pocket in the garden during reception. Hence the framing being imperfect. Only a couple of us saw it, and it was bloody funny, it’s these moments that win 🖤

We’ve teamed up with some local legends who have donated an entire wedding package with 100% of proceeds this year from the final bid going to Jenny's Place Domestic Violence & Homelessness Support

All you’ve got to do is be the highest bidder at the live auction this Valentine’s Day Peterson House and you could have the wedding of your dreams, but totally guilt free, as every single dollar you spend will be going straight to charity. 🙌🏼

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be dropping the names of the incredibly generous vendors who have donated to this years charity wedding so you can see just how epic this wedding will be.

The wedding is set for Friday July 28 (this year) Peterson House. That’s right… a FRIDAY WEDDING! You’d be hard pressed to find one of them this year, let alone at such a kick ass venue!

R A R E - B R E E D 🖤 Drone shots are one of my favourite wedding things. Not all of my couples know this, but getting those shots is a thought out process for me. Being a fully compliant drone pilot means firstly, that I am allowed to use a drone at your wedding. It means I go in with complete knowledge of my aircraft, the sky above, and get the clearances required by law to operate in that airspace. It also means I have a risk assessment, a flight plan and liability insurance that covers you, your guests and the venue. This won’t be a popular post for many people, it may even fracture friendships and seem like I’m the fun police, but it needs to be raised. Does your photographer or videographer hold current ReOC / RePL qualifications? Because without it, using a drone to take pictures at your wedding is illegal and safety risk for not just those on the ground, but those in the air.
