The NT Government, in partnership with “Friends of Kahlin” unveiled a sign recognizing the significance of the area previously known as Kahlin Compound, and announced that they plan to develop a memorial in the area which acknowledges the history of the wrong doing that occurred.
Chief Minister of the Norther Territory Michael Gunner, presenter Charlie King and many well known Larrakia Traditional Owners and Elders attended, and spoke at the unveiling ceremony about the significance of Myilly Point in Darwin's History.

Local services, schools, young people and community members come together and show their support whilst learning about what young people can do when they find themselves or a friend homeless. Come down and cheer on the competitors while enjoying live entertainment, food and info stalls.
