First stop: hair!
Hallelujah!
So good to see the team at for the first time since May!
I’ve been a Nak ambassador for 6yrs and swear by their products, their no yellow blonde shampoo helped keep regrowth more tolerable in lockdown too!
Next stop: newborn godson, Grandma in nursing home, family dinner in gong, family in Orange! - the last one will have to wait until 80%!

So much respect for this woman, who wouldn’t! She’s a 2-time Olympian, 2-time World Champion, a bloody DOCTOR and has FOUR children! Not even the word ‘Superwoman’ cuts it when describing

There’s so much to Jana which we just didn’t see when she was an athlete and which I really wanted to show in the podcast. It was a different era then, the media controlled a lot, the only way you could really show the public who you were and what you were doing was through the media - they were the gatekeepers. If they wanted to show you as a certain way, well, they had control. There was no social media then to set the record straight or to communicate directly to the public. Jana felt the full brunt of this, remember the ‘drama Jana’ tag? Far out it was relentless and cruel.

I honestly believe if Jana was competing today it would be a different story, everything she was maligned for back then - her openness, honesty, passion, quirkiness, confidence and vulnerability - would be things we would celebrate her for now.

I loved this chat so much, especially breaking down a lot of what happened during her career. It’s raw, honest, uplifting and inspiring.

As for the media, it’s important for us to hold a mirror to ourselves and to honestly reflect on what happened in the past in order for us to be better in the future.

There are so many great messages in this podcast and we have Jana to thank for that!

Special thanks to the equally wonderful for her contribution. It’s a great message about women supporting women too!

Enjoy this and I can’t wait to watch Jana dominate in this final week of SAS!!!
