A fine collection of motoring history embarked on the Bay to Birdwood Run this morning leaving from West Beach and winding their way along the 67km to the National Motor Museum at Birdwood.
FOUR DRINK DRIVERS CAUGHT

Traffic stops results in four drink drivers being caught in the northern suburbs overnight.
At about 10.15pm on Wednesday 13 September, police stopped a red Honda sedan on Heytesbury Road at Davoren Park for a mobile driver test.
The driver, a 19-year-old man from Smithfield, submitted to a breath test where he provided a positive result of 0.097.
He was reported for driving with a prescribed concentration of alcohol, issued a 6-month immediate loss of licence, his car was impounded for 28 days, and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
Then at midnight, patrols stopped an orange Ford utility on Onkaparinga Drive at Salisbury for a random driver test.
The driver returned a result of 0.158. The 37-year-old man from Salisbury Downs was reported for driving with a prescribed concentration of alcohol, issued a 12-month immediate loss of licence, his car was impounded for 28 days, and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
Just before 2am, patrols stopped a grey BMW sedan on Park Terrace, Salisbury for a random driver test.
The driver, a 31-year-old man from Burton, submitted to a breath test where he provided a positive result of 0.072. He was issued expiation for exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol, as well as for driving an unregistered motor vehicle.
Then just before 3am, patrols stopped a white Mercedes sedan on Diment Road, Salisbury North for a random driver test.
The driver, a 63-year-old man from Waterloo Corner, submitted to a breath test where he provided a positive result of 0.095. He was reported for driving with a prescribed concentration of alcohol, issued a 6-month immediate loss of licence, his car was impounded for 28 days, and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

DRINK DRIVER OVER SIX TIMES THE LIMIT
A woman has been reported for drink driving after being detected more than six times the legal limit at Parkside yesterday.
About 5pm Thursday 28 July, police were called to Robsart Street after a woman was seen staggering out of a Toyota SUV.
The woman had driven off prior to patrols arriving however follow up enquiries were made at the registered owners address nearby.
The alleged driver was subsequently breath tested where she produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.307, more than six times the legal limit.
A 46-year-old Parkside woman was reported for drink driving, issued with an instant loss of licence and her car was impounded. She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
SEMAPHORE HOUSE FIRE
SA Metropolitan Fire Service crews responded to a structure fire on Hall Street at Semaphore.
Firefighters were alerted at 6:30pm by a Triple 000 call reporting smoke from the roof, and arrived to find a maisonette fully involved in fire.
An elderly occupant in the adjacent maisonette woke to smoke in the property.
Six appliances and one command car and thirty firefighters responded to the scene, and crews using breathing apparatus and using high pressure lines worked to extinguish the fire through roof.
Fire Cause Investigators have been called to determine a cause, and the adjoining property suffered heat and smoke damage.
Damage is estimated at $250,000.
CAR IMPOUNDED AFTER WATERLOO CORNER BURNOUTS
A man has had his car impounded after being caught doing burnouts at Waterloo Corner.
Police will allege that about 11.20pm on Friday 11 February, patrols responded to reports of numerous cars driving dangerously on Robinson Road near Driver Road.
PolAir was used to monitor the cars from above, while patrols on the ground searched for the offending vehicles.
A Ford sedan that was seen doing burnouts near bystanders was stopped by police on Penfield Road near Heaslip Road and the 18-year-old driver was reported for misuse of a motor vehicle.
His car was impounded for 28 days and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
