Host a screening of 'Lyrebird'
Host a screening of 'Lyrebird' to help us distribute the film into AUS/NZ curriculum. https://www.themessageofthelyrebird.com/host-a-screening
The Message of the Lyrebird has won 15 awards, including 7 'best documentary' screening in 24 international film festivals. It has been called "one of the top 6 highlights at the Green Film Festival of San Francisco" by The San Francisco Chronicle and "A brilliant movie" by the World Animal Awareness Society.
Hatched over 11 years of independent production, the documentary follows a study group, a scientist, a lyrebird sound recordist, a lyrebird keeper, an activist and a Knowledge-Holder on a quest for intelligence and truth to learn more about the profound importance of co-existing with wildlife, our old-growth forests, the Earth, and The Dreaming. The film showcases spectacular forests of eastern Australia while exposing some of the most incredible bird behaviour and grass-roots study required of all of us who aspire to the title 'environmentally conscious'.
In our modern age of spiritual confusion, the lyrebird stands as a symbol of sacred harmony - the speaker of all languages and the dancer of life. The Message of the Lyrebird invites audiences to remember our place in the natural world and inspires us to cultivate the peace and reverence necessary for humanity's salvation.

"We're constantly being led to believe, as Indigenous people, the benefits that will come from development are going to invest into a sustainable future for Aboriginal people; are going to invest into our self-determination. And yet, we don't even have the right to veto on our own lands. So logically it doesn't make sense - how are we ever going to generate self determination if we still don't have the right or capacity to control our land?" –Albert Wiggan
