A long awaited trip to Tassie I waited till the last possible moment and finally canceled at 3.00pm on Monday. There was no way the Border was going to open to Melbournians in time for us to get the overnight Ferry that night. At 5.00pm the Tassie Government announced they were reopening to Melbournians after closing for a month due to our covid outbreak. Madly rebooked everything to leave the next day. Worth every extra cent. Just what we needed. It is spectacular here and it's like being back in 2019. Not a mask in sight or covid discussions. Loving every microsecond here, except minus our daughter at home. I know my mental health was really declining in Melbourne after 4 lockdowns. So grateful to be here 😊
