Australia is filled with natural beauty as well as hidden dangers as we venture out to the more remote places of our great country.

When we venture beyond our comfort zone to seek out Australia's weather we see things many don't, but also have the opportunity to meet locals who rarely visit our large cities.

Last evening I managed to capture some breath-taking scenes south west of Tamworth, NSW near Spring Ridge.

Not only was the supercell storm breath-taking, I also managed to have a moment to introduce myself to a local named Fred who was mustering his cattle down the road whilst also watching the storm in the distance.

Whilst Australia's severe weather can divide our population, for those who manage to capture its beauty it can also connect us with people we would never meet.

Severe Weather Australia takes great pride in connecting our professional and public content creators together where we can all share and support our passion for weather.

No matter your background or beliefs, we thank you for being part of our state weather groups and trusting our page partners and groups and sharing how weather impacts you.
