We welcome City of Casey elected councillors calling on Environment Protection Authority Victoria to reopen their consultation on the development license application from Veolia and proposed waste transfer station at Hampton Park.
The community needs a genuine opportunity to be informed, to respond and be heard on this important issue.
In addition to our submission to the EPA consultation, the CRRA has been working closely with the Lynbrook Residents Association supporting their advocacy efforts and we have also written to:
- the City of Casey calling on them to review the planning permit issued to Veolia: and - Victorian Minister for Environment, Steve Dimopoulos and Victorian Minister for Planning Sonya Kilkenny to ask their support for further consultation from EPA Victoria.
We will keep our members and residents updated on further developments.
