Have you noticed Instagram’s big change recently? 🚨

The grid layout has switched from the classic square to a taller format. This tweak will impact how your content is seen and how you should approach creating it.

Here’s what you need to do to adapt:

It’s time to move away from square posts and start creating in 1080 x 1350 dimensions. However, keep in mind that not everyone has the update yet, so they’ll still see your grid in the square format. Make sure your content works well for both views.

I just did what I tell all of my clients not to do on social media—I disappeared.

But I do have a good reason. I was hospitalised with pneumonia, and I turned 30. It was a lot to happen in just one week!

This experience taught me a valuable lesson: life happens, and it’s okay to step back when you need to. However, it also reinforced the importance of having a plan. Disappearing from Instagram doesn’t mean you’ve failed, but as a coach, I’ve always encouraged my clients to build consistency and create a content plan that works even when they can’t show up.

In hindsight, if I’d had a bit of content pre-prepared or scheduled, I could’ve stayed visible even during my time away. It’s a reminder for all of us that social media isn’t about perfection—it’s about building systems that support you, so you don’t feel overwhelmed when life throws the unexpected your way.

And now, I’m back and excited to dive into 30 (ahh - what?) with fresh energy, better strategies, and a lot of gratitude. Let’s go!

🚫 KEEP YOUR WEBSITE LINKS OUT OF YOUR INSTAGRAM CAPTIONS 🚫

Instagram doesn't allow clickable links in captions (annoying, I know!). So, when they're placed there, they can look messy and kind of pointless.

Pop your website link into the link section of your bio. If you need more than one link, use a free link-in-bio tool like LinkTree, where you can place multiple links at once.

And, of course, don't forget the power of a great call to action! Encourage your audience to explore more by directing them to the clickable link in your bio!

Hey everyone! 👋

Since I’ve noticed some new faces around here, I thought it was a great time to reintroduce myself.

I’m Cassidy Krygger, the founder of Daisy Creative Media, the creator of , and the writer, actor, and founding producer of .

When I say Instagram has transformed my life, I mean it! Hollywoodland Photos has grown to over 260,000 followers on Instagram and almost 50,000 on TikTok—all thanks to organic growth, with not a cent spent on ads. This journey has opened doors for me, including interviews on shows like Today Extra and in publications like Daily Mail.

I launched my first social media marketing business in 2018 and earned my Social Media Marketing Diploma in 2019. Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of small businesses worldwide find their voice and success on Instagram.

Here’s my mantra: Instagram can be a game-changer for your business, and it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. My mission is to make your Instagram journey not just successful, but also fun. Think of it as your creative playground, where you can share the authentic you behind your brand.

On a personal note, I live with Multiple Sclerosis. Diagnosed at just 23, it's been a journey, but I’m passionate about raising awareness and connecting with others who may be on a similar path.

It’s time to step into your audience’s shoes: are you creating the kind of content they truly want? Too often, people think that just sharing posts related to their business is enough. While it's important for your content to align with your niche, it also needs to be captivating and useful to your target audience. If it’s not, they won’t engage!

I have always had high ambitions, and when I was a teenager and struggling with a severe anxiety disorder that mose days kept me locked in my bedroom, it seemed almost impossible that I would get there. But my belief that a better life awaited me got me through my worst days.

It's taken me awhile to get here, but I can finally see my dreams slowly start to take shape and I am so glad that I never gave up.

So embrace the process, stay committed, and celebrate your progress along the way.
