Today and every day, I honour women around the world, both past and present.
I was raised by women; my mum was a single mother, and my family is predominantly female. I feel fortunate to have been surrounded by so many amazing women during my formative years as a little girl.
Today, I pay special tribute to the women in my bloodline—my mum, Jan; my grandmother, Norma; and my great-grandmother, Daisy. They are all strong and powerful women whose stories have shaped me into the woman I am today.
To achieve success, consistency is key... in everything!

A question I get asked often is, 'When is the best time to post on Instagram?'
Interestingly, according to later.com, the best time to post is at 4 am across all time zones! Why? From Monday to Sunday, they found that content posted earlier in the day gets higher average engagement rates.
I always say that the best way to find it is by trial and error. Post and see what works best. I find that posting in the evening between Sundays and Thursdays, you can't go wrong. But it's important to check your analytics to see when YOUR audience is active.

I woke up on Thursday morning to the notification that Ariana Grande had just followed my account ! At first, I thought it was a total scam until I realised that it was 100% her. SO! Here is what I have learned from having the 5th most followed account on Instagram follow me:
Having someone of that fame level follow you will definitely boost your own following. I have gained 800 followers in the past few days after a bit of a slower period of growth. Her following me made news on Twitter/X with her fan pages reporting the news (seriously.) So that has been some great free advertisement for me!
Ariana followed me after liking a picture of Elizabeth Montgomery in Bewitched that I had posted nearly one month ago - which has helped THAT post go semi viral. Honestly that post didn't do very well, and I had considered deleting in when I posted it, lesson there? Your posts don't have to do well straight away. Keep them up if they are serving a purpose!
Another thing? My niche is very strong on Hollywoodland Photos. That is what I always maintain. I know what I am posting and who I am posting for.
And yes, I quickly followed her back 😂
