With a 1.5 squeeze factor, these lenses deliver the classic anamorphic aesthetic, including oval bokeh and horizontal lens flares.

The lenses feature a multi-layer coating to reduce lens flare and ghosting, ensuring sharp and clear images.

Atlas Mercury series covers full frame, and has consistent T2.2 apertures.

We now offer these lenses in 36mm, 42mm and 72mm.

The Lomo Illumina S35 Lenses are an incredibly fast set of Lenses at T1.3 across the board.

The glass is made of 1980s Russian cinema lenses, designed to cover the Super 35mm format.

Our set includes the:
18mm
25mm
35mm
50mm
85mm

At wide open the lenses display a lot of focus fall off, edge distortion and softening at the edges — something that we explore in the video series where Lauren visits set, and sees what a production is doing with the Lomos at Wide open on a Sony FX3 at 12,800 ISO.

The Cooke Panchro i Classics are an absolutely exceptional set of lenses.

The glass demonstrates the exquisite “Cooke looke” - with pleasing skin tones, and a look on portraits that just sings.

The “i” in the title refers to i Data, which communicates values of Iris and Focus to the camera.

The lenses also boast a relatively fast T2.2 aperture on the 21mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 75mm (and a T2.6 on the 100mm).

The Tribe 7 BLACKWING 7 lenses are the creative lovechild of a collaboration between Neil Fanthom and Bradford Young ASC.

BLACKWING7 lenses are tunable, and allow parameters such as sharpness, contrast, roll-off, spherical aberration, field curvature, edge halation and flare to be modified to provide sets of “curated” optics to suit the personality and intent of the user.

There are 3 levels of 'Tuneability':
S = straight
T = Transient
X = expressive

Nurturing the next generation of filmmakers🎥
The other week Raz Rentals welcomed an enthusiastic group of third year Edith Cowan University (ECU) screen production students in an introductory workshop. We took the students through the operation of industry standard, state-of-the-art equipment, showing them what to expect when heading out into the industry after graduation. We wish the students the best of luck in their final year of studies as they undertake filming for their final short films.

We at Raz Rentals are always looking for ways to improve. We love innovation in the world of cinema. Thanks to here are a few design ideas we have for future cine cameras:

- A compact and lightweight design for easy on-the-go shooting.
-Interchangeable lens mounts to give fi lmmakers more creative control.
- Old school multiple lens option built in the body of the camera.
Improved image stabilization for smooth and steady footage.
- Enhanced low light performance for capturing stunning visuals in any setting.

We’ve moved :) join Lauren and the team as we box up the old and bump into the new space. This is the @djistoreau DJI 4d Flex. It’s an umbilical chord to the DJI 4d, that allows you to separate the Zenmuse x9 camera from the brain of the 4d. This allows you to carry a camera, lens, gimbal, with internal IDs, all in a tiny 1.8kg payload. Then handles are adaptable, so they can move from the brain to the camera, allowing for a variety of rigging options. This little camera is the the way of the future. The way of the future.
