This week I was announced as a Finalist in the Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards 2024 🏆✨

I am beyond grateful and still can not believe it that I am a Finalist in the top Hairdressing Awards Category in Australia. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity amongst over 3000 entries.

The Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards recognises the achievements of some of Australia’s most inspiring, outstanding, influential women in Small Business and I am truly grateful to be a part of it 👏🏽

I opened my salon to 13 years ago with a passion to make every women who walked through my door feel beautiful on the inside and out.

If you’re ready for some metric truth bombs, I’m here to tell you that the follower count is the least interesting thing about your social account 👀

If you want to track all the juicy numbers to see how well you’re really doing, let’s look at the following:

Views and reach are your top of funnel metrics and show how well you’re attracting attention of non-followers.

Your engagement metrics - ie. comments, likes and shares give you a true indication of how your audience is connecting with your brand and moving through the customer journey.

And lastly, what steps are people taking once they are an engaged follower? Here we need to look at your external link clicks and the actions they take once they go through to your website.

Notice how these three segments of metrics all follow the three steps of the attraction, nurture and conversion Marketing flow?

These are the three steps that you should be thinking about when creating your content to ensure that you’re answering all the questions of your ideal customer.

Yesterday I finally got the chance to head to cprhair HQ to check out their office, and even put the high vis on to get a tour of the warehouse. Due to the long Sydney lockdown this year this is the first time I’m meeting many of the team I have been working with over Zoom for months.

Thank you for trusting us with your social media marketing this year 👏🏽 We have achieved some great milestones this year and looking forward to an even bigger 2022.
