The disgusting scenes are taking place in broad daylight on a street in the Bronx, New York, not far from the county courthouse, with broken bottles, syringes, needles and f***s are strewn everywhere, and people are lying right on the sidewalks, the article says.
Despite complaining to authorities about the mess, local residents claim cops do nothing except recommend “not paying attention.”
The parks department said its goal is to maintain cleanliness, so it has trained staff to remove and properly “dispose of used needles.”
