The only part of your wedding you don’t see… and for good reason 😱
A DJs setup can be a long and exhausting procedure, knowing where to go and what to do is paramount. And having that all organised before the day is key 🔑
Crown casino would probably be the hardest bumpin in terms of procedure. Well before your wedding day, your DJ needs to do an online induction on work safety and hazard prevention ☢️
As well as the induction they need to provide a Safety report sighting all equipment and it’s purpose, If it’s tested and tagged and any other safety concerns need to be met for crown to sign off. 📝
On the day you First go to the staff entry where you sign in, scan your license and register for back of house access which is given to you by security. 🛂
After that you call the banquet manager to let them know you are arriving at the loading dock where they can meet you with a large trolley to be able to take your gear from the loading dock to the function room. 🛒
I was lucky enough to have a staff member take the trolley for me so I could then take my car from the loading dock to the multilevel car park. This step saved me a good 10 to 20 minutes ⏰
You Park in the multilevel car park then you walk all the way through Crown back to the room when you can begin set up. 🪩
Once set up is complete, we get dressed and get ready to dance the night away 💃🏻🕺🏼

I have found through recent feedback that couples want to see a video of the DJ to get a feel for them.
I listened to this feedback and have now prepared to add this to our profiles. Keep in mind the DJ profiles already all have bios, recent reviews, live mixes and photos and I thought for a long time having the live mixes on their is everything you could want. But in todays market, the requirements have changed, just hearing the DJ isn’t enough, seeing them is also very important for our couples.
So with that. We hope to deliver a deeper insight into our team. Keep an eye out for the reels coming to our dj profiles. We had a blast filming the reels and we can’t wait to show it to you.
