Within 24 hours of notice, Civium has facilitated the testing of our first potential site for contaminated mulch. Thankfully, the test results for this particular site were negative.

On the 20th of February 2024, WorkSafe ACT released a public notice notifying ACT residents of the potential of bonded asbestos in 'cottage mulch' products.

Civium has emailed all of its Executive Committee members to make them aware of WorkSafe ACT's recommendations and suppliers who are potentially affected. Please get in touch with our Strata team if you feel you may be affected - 1300 724 256.

AllHomes has released Canberra’s Property Snapshot for Q4 2023. The data shows that whilst house prices continue to fall in the Capital, unit prices have risen steadily with a 12.6% year-over-year (YoY) increase and 2.2% increase since June 2022.

The YoY decrease in house prices is also the highest recorded in all capital cities, down 4.6% from December 2022, compared to Adelaide with a 12.7% increase in the same period.
