Introducing our final cast member, Wayne Tunks, who will be playing the role of murder suspect and conspiracy theorist, Steve. Wayne is also the writer and director of Murderer's Murder.
Wayne is an award winning actor, writer and director. His web series, 'After Nightfall' and 'Spook Siblings" have won awards worldwide, as have his short films, 'Overcaterers Anonymous' and 'Arlo'. Wayne spent over 20 years making theatre, with his plays being performed around Australia. Wayne has released two novels, 'Normal or Nothing Like It' and 'Electricity', with a third, 'The Silence Before' due for release this year. Wayne was storyliner on TV's 'Neighbours', has been teaching for 20 years and is the breakfast announcer on iHeart radio station, My88.

Introducing our next cast member, Demi McFarlane as Thea - the host of Murderer's Murder.
Demi has an exciting performing career that spans stage and screen. She graduated from ED5 International with an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts in 2018 and has been working professionally ever since. Some highlights include performing internationally in Macau, touring in children’s theatre productions and performing regularly in the corporate and events circuit in Sydney. Demi is thrilled to be returning to Tunks Productions after appearing in the virtual reading of The Girlie Show as Natalie and in Spook Siblings as Taylor.

Introducing our next cast member, Sonya Kerr, as Belle, a rival murder podcaster.
Sonya Kerr is a graduate of The Flinders University Drama Centre in South Australia. She has worked extensively in Melbourne and Sydney, appearing in both stage and screen roles, including : August: Osage County, The Angry Brigade, Next Lesson and Dinkum Assorted (New Theatre), The Government Inspector (Fingerless Theatre), The Sweet Science of Bruising and In Their Footsteps (Theatre Travels), Silenced (Vox Theatre), Seed Bomb, Shut Up and Drive, A Quiet Night in Rangoon and One Way Mirror (Subtlenuance), As You Like It and Macbeth (SheShakespeare), The Auxiliary and Macbeth (Phrankly Theatre - Melb). Sonya has appeared in several short films including Vector, which she also co-produced. She was the host and co-creator of the online review show, Kapow! Comics, Cartoons and Collectables. Sonya is also an historian, intimacy co-ordinator and proud member of MEAA.

She is pleased that although it’s now out of her casting range, she can at least still sound like a 19 year old.

Introducing our next member, Emma Louise, as Kathy, School Principal and murder suspect.
Emma has trained as both an actor and voice coach, and has been working professionally in children’s theatre for the past 18 years. She has a long history with Tunks productions, appearing onstage in Bitch, The Bridesmaid Must Die!, We’ll Always Have Wagga, Hell Hath No Fury, The Girl From The West Of The City, Petroleum, and 37 Ways To Say I’m Gay; working as an assistant director on The Girlie Show, and director of Things Not To Do After A Break-up. Her on screen appearances for Tunks Productions include Maxine Lester in According to Otto, Faye Sant in seasons 1 & 2 of After Nightfall, Eliza Bartlett in Spook Siblings, and Belinda in Overcaterers Anonymous which scored her a best supporting actress win at the British Web Awards. Most recently, she can be seen playing Fran Walker in Ad-Hoc Theatre’s premiere of Mad For You – playing at the Sydney Acting Studio until Sunday 11th Feb.

Suz Mawer is a graduate of Queensland University of Technology (BA Drama). Her theatrical performances include Wil & Grace(Rogue Productions), Coram Boy (KXT bAkehouse), The Bed Party (Old 505),37 Ways to Say I'm Gay (Tunks Productions), Macbeth(SheShakespeare), Visiting Hours (KXT bAkehouse), Jatinga (KXT bAkehouse), The Laden Table (KXT bAkehouse). Suz' television credits include Strife, Doctor Doctor, The Secrets She Keeps, The Other Guy, Frayed, Soul Mates, Home & Away, Wonderland and Crownies. Her film credits includeWelcome to the Galaxy, Overcaterers Anonymous, The Void in Joy and web series Spook Siblings. Introducing our next cast member, Chloe Delle-Vedove as Harper, a year 7 student suspected of murder.
Chloe has been performing professionally since age 4, appearing on stage and screen. Starting out in various commercials, she has gone on to appear in Frozen The Musical as Young Anna (Capitol Theatre), Mary Poppins as Jane Banks (Lyric Theatre) and Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat as Butler/Gad's Wife (Capitol Theatre). For television she has appeared in Channel 10's North Shore, and has a regular role in an exciting TV series about to drop later this year. She is also thrilled to be starring in a brand new TikTok horror series called Greystanes, set for release March/April. For Tunks Productions she has appeared as Maddie Sant in seasons 1 & 2 of the award winning webseries After Nightfall, and as Zoe in the hilarious short film Overcaterers Anonymous.

Introducing our next cast member, Jacinta Moses, as Donna - the mother of 'Murderer's Murder' podcast host, Thea.
Jacinta is a graduate from Ensemble Acting Studios. She has performed in both theatre and film. Her theatre productions include Hell Hath no Fury, The Girlie Show, According to Otto and a short play, One Punch, which reached the Short and Sweet final. Jacinta’s film work includes Fragmentary, According to Otto, two seasons of award winning web series After Nightfall, a season of the web series Spook Siblings, as well as short films Overcaterers Anonymous and Audio Guide. Jacinta also co-produced Overcaterers Anonymous and Spook Siblings.

Emily has previously trained with Wayne Tunks at Sydney Talent Company for several years. Emily enjoys performing in both live theatre and screen work. She has featured in several music videos including Amber Lawrence and Christie Lamb, short films and web series, including multi award winning series ‘After Nightfall’. She has also performed multiple times in the Short Sharp Festival at Riverside Theatre, including a win for Best Ensemble. Emily looks forward to working on this thrilling podcast with Wayne and the amazing team.

Susan is a Sydney based actor/director who has worked extensively in independent theatre, film and television playing roles from Shakespeare to Sam Shepherd, Recent theatre includes: Home Country (Sydney Fringe Festival 2023); Death in the Pantheon (Sydney Fringe Festival 2023). Television and film credits include Islamophobia Register ad; Sharehouse (AFTRS), Where Rosemary Goes (Tom Harwood), Under the Sun (Taste Creative); Deadly Women (Beyond Films). Susan is pumped to be playing Edith McGurk in Murderer's Murder, "I feel like I've come home" she recently said to herself.

Time to begin announcing the cast for 'Murderer's Murder'.
Up first is Gary Daniels, who plays Inspector Patrick Dorsey, a man who is definitely not a fan of the Murderer's Murder Podcast.
Gary has worked as an Actor and Singer, with over 30 years experience in a range of roles in TV, Stage (Drama and Musicals), and many Television Commercials.
Most recently he has co-written and co produced, and Starred as Soula in the award winning Comedy Web Series, "Eating with Soula", winning a Variety of Awards across the Webfest Circuit.
He previously worked with Tunks Productions on Spook Siblings playing DT.
