Sometimes you cant believe what you see on the road. We came across this guy driving out of Mudgee a while ago. Not only a very unsafe overtake but also an animal dragging its snout along the road.

Mudgee kids Grace and Leon Riley stole the show with some great pics I took, so it ended up the cover and inside the Daily Telegraph "Bush Summit" edition a while back. Thanks to Darren Rohr for his help with the cute calf too.

Praise to the RFS who scrambled from all over the region, including the big aerial jumbo, to fight the bushfire and protect properties around St Fillans. It was a scorcher of a day with big wind gusts, but the teamwork and professionalism was obvious by the result.
1 old home (pictured) was lost and the shed blazing till late, though its a sobering reminder to clear debris (fuel) from around your property.

Lockdown is ending... its time to get out to support the west and Dubbo Zoo again. This is one of many baby ring-tailed lemurs just born. Too cute!

My media work has been on hold for a while as I help support a new Mudgee business, but I hope to be back into it soon.
I did manage to do a few days in Dubbo last week for News LTD/Newswire related to Covid, and given special access to the new drive through Covid vaccination clinic. FYI, it was very quiet with loads of space if you want an easy way to get it done.
