How can you protect your patient's confidentiality? ⬇️

1️⃣ Obtain written and specific patient consent before you post patient information or images online.

2️⃣ Protect patient information by deidentifying the information and/or image you post.

Health professionals have a responsibility to ensure that their use of social media is consistent with their ethical and legal obligations to protect patient confidentiality.

Remember, breaches of patient confidentiality online can have far wider implications because of the reach of social media and permanency of digital information.

How can you utilise your positive reviews for your clinic? 💞

You can:
Have reviews enabled and shown on online platforms like Google, Facebook etc. So people can hop on and leave a review and others can view these reviews.

You can't:
Screen shot or copy/paste these reviews or any testimonials patients send directly to you via email or text message for use in social media graphics, advertisements or sections on your website.

Advertising your reviews is against the APHRA guidelines. If you have a healthcare business that is governed by APHRA, take note.

It's hard not to want to share glowing reviews about your business, however, there's other ways we can make you look great online! 😉

Celebrating 7 years in business and returning to work again after 3 months off to focus on my health 🌿

I'm no boss babe or mumpreneur who dreams of a huge scale company. I'm a mum who focuses on her family and kids, plus runs a business in my "spare" time 😉

I don't believe you can have it all, especially not while the kids are young. Something will always be sacrificed and for me it was my health.

The break was a great reset to pour into myself and my health again. Fun fact: I only had 2 weeks off with my first baby and a month with my second. Then I returned to working again in a small capacity.

I know being a business owner and making my own hours is the best, and I could never imagine returning to a regular job. I love love love what I do and using my brain for something else really makes me a better mum, personally.

Wherever you are at in your journey as a mother, woman, business owner or otherwise, remember to celebrate you and take care of you. You are your most valuable asset 🥰💕

15 to 6000 Facebook followers in a matter of months thanks to Facebook Reels! 💥 With no paid ads.

This client's Reels always perform well because they are eye catching, utilise text in them and use a trending audio that matches the video.

The one Reel circled got them the bulk of those new follows too. Going viral has plenty of benefits!

Struggling to expand your Instagram audience? 🌏 The easiest way to reach non-followers is with Instagram Reels.

Look at this client of ours (in particular the chart up the top). You will see that pretty much all the views came from non-followers.

These non-followers shared, saved, commented and liked the Reel, plus a bunch went on to follow the Instagram account with no prompting. Hello new audience members! 👋

While the Instagram Reels algorithm decides what user sees the Reel, you can prime your Reel for success.

This Reel ticked a bunch of boxes:
✅️ Relatable/relevant (therefore encouraged shares and saves)
✅️ Featured trending audio (that was also appropriate to the Reel content)
✅️ Good quality content that moved fast to keep user interested
✅️ Featured text on the Reel so those watching with sound off would still understand it
✅️ Under 15 seconds long

📣📣📣 FACEBOOK REELS ➡️

I will shout it from the rooftops if I have to! One of the most underutilised features that can give you incredible results on Facebook are Reels.

Over the years so many businesses have become disheartened with their pages because (despite having a good following) they get little to no reach. And posting for it to only reach a handful of people seems pointless and ineffective.

However, Reels are amazing at reaching new people beyond your existing audience. And it's easy for Reels to go viral if you're producing quality content.

You will get new page followers and new page likes from your Reels too. (All with $0 ad spend but Facebook would rather you not know that!)

Our client is a real example that it does work. We struggled to grow their page prior to Reels purely because they only had 15 followers and didn't want to spend on ads. However once Reels were introduced, we jumped on board posting 1 or 2 a week and boom 💥 6,000 followers in around 3 months!

I should add that we went onto all Reels posted and invited anyone who liked the reel to the page as well. Paired together, it's a really effective way to grow your page and broader brand awareness.

My why 😍 The reason I started Social Tiger 5 years ago was because I wanted to start a family and live a flexible lifestyle.

Any parents will know, they're little for such a short period of time and I truly wanted to cherish every day with my children.

I had reached my career goal as magazine editor and was working up to 10+ hours a day!

Social Tiger was a side project that grew into my full time passion very quickly. It built organically over the years and I choose my own hours, clients and services to offer. I truly love it 😍

Of course there are hard days when the kids need me more, or where I could do with many more hours of sleep. I resumed work in some capacity 2 weeks after Rahnee was born and 1 month after Boston was born. It was challenging but when you love what you do and you have amazing clients, it will always be worth it.

It was time consuming but worthwhile as a good number would like your page. But with Meta's new feature, you can invite everyone who has reacted to any post of yours in the last six months to follow your page... in seconds! People who have reacted to your posts are already interested in your content and/or business, so a number of them will follow your page. And it's free! THE STEPS Access your Meta Business Suite via business.facebook.com (if you can't access it this way, comment or message me as I have a work around). You will come to the home page. Scroll down until you see: "Grow your audience". The first option is to "Reach out to your existing network" where you invite your Facebook friends. The second option is to "Reach out to new people". You will see the number of people you have to invite (note: Meta caps the number you see at 999 so if you have 999, you most likely have more than that to invite). Press "Send invites" and you can invite everyone under each positive reaction. Meta let's you invite 1000 people every 24 hrs. POV: Working from home with a newborn 👶 Boston is now 5 months old! Times flies and my work day looks even different now. Should I make an updated work day routine? I resumed work when Boston was just 1 month old. I found the transition easier with my 2nd bub and knew what to expect. So after nothing but horizontal rest and baby bonding for the first few weeks, I was ready to get back to a few hours here and there each week.
