The Australian Cello Awards has been established to recognise achievement and performance potential, with the goal to assist young cellists further or accelerate their career development as an orchestral cellist, chamber music artist or soloist. The premier award of the ACA is the Allen-Evans Scholarship, a valuable suite of cash prizes and opportunities. In addition to the Allen-Evans, the ACA also provides a number of other cash prizes, awards and performance opportunities.
