Event ticketing / Raffle Tickets

Do you run your own events and need old style printed event tickets are raffle tickets?

Rather than outsourcing and ending up with tickets that don't reflect your branding or event theme please consider designing them yourself with the use of my favourite drag and drop design platform Canva.

I've been designing tickets of all sorts for many years using Canva for the design and then printing with either our local printer or online resource Eventgroove (formerly TicketRiver).

I'm still hoping Canva's print facility will one day include this type of tear-off raffle ticket printing but until then, I've found the most economical way to have professional looking tickets is to design with Canva (or another favourite design too) and then print with a company such as Eventgroove who currently send to Australia & New Zealand.

Here are a few examples using Canva dimensions 143mm x 50mm which marry up with the printer's requirements.

New logo created for RHAY ROM Music band Perth Pinoy All-Stars.

We created this in Canva using the authorised colours of the Philippines flag. We've also saved in Black and White for those times when colour is not going to work in the medium.

No need to register the logo so using Canva was the perfect application and can be tweaked as the band needs.

The Pinoy All-Star band is made up of Perth Pinoy musicians and vocalists who all play in different bands but come together once per year for a dance extravaganza.

Covid played havoc on a lot of musos and the Perth Pinoy All-Stars are looking forward to another sell out on Dec 3 at the Civic Hotel Milk Bar. Stay tuned for ticket sales.

Voting for the Best Short Film award opens on July 15th.

I’d love you to vote for EVIE () for Best Short Film. This epic dinosaur thriller is on it’s way to becoming a feature and a nomination – or even better a win – as recognition of one of Australia’s best short films will go a long way to making that happen.

The film has already been recognised as the best short film in 4 other festivals internationally and Melody was recently nominated for Best Actress. The entire team have done a brilliant job in the making of this film.

As an AACTA member you can watch on the AACTATV portal and keep an eye out for more information in voting in July.

We are looking for dancers across Australia & New Zealand with strong hip-hop, commercial dance, street dance, break dance and flipping skills for an upcoming musical (to be announced at a later date) who are BASED IN AUSTRALIA OR NEW ZEALAND to audition. We are completely open to seeing people with no previous professional performance experience!
