Last week, most of Retain Media travelled to the Philippines for our annual conference. Over three days, we reflected on the year that’s been 🪞, planned for the year ahead 📄, and soaked up the sights of sunny ☀️ (and sometimes not so sunny 😅) Boracay. 🏖️
Building a team culture is one of the greatest challenges of running a fully remote business, and for many of our team, this was only their first or second time meeting each other. For Leon, our second longest-serving employee, this was his first chance to meet anyone other than Brian, with Covid, a car crash, and a newborn baby all conspiring against his attempts in years prior.
Needless to say, we don’t take these opportunities to come together as a team for granted. 😌 It was fantastic to see everyone forming friendships and getting to know each other beyond the confines of their roles, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year! 😊🥰
