Exploring the difference between chemical and behavioural addictions, through an amalgamation of movement, sound & colour, be transcended in an all-encompassing dance/theatre experience.

The story tells of different addictions from social media, materialism, substance abuse, food, s*x and health/fitness. Addiction and addictive personalities are common, yet some are stigmatised based on their social acceptability, while others often become ignored. Therefore, shedding light on all addictions, and how psychologically they are interlinked, is very important to the piece and us.

Sarah Wilson is an artist based in South Australia who has mainly been working within Australia and Europe. Sarah has worked on various productions all over the world as the performer, Rehearsal Director and Creator. Working with and trained by Artists such as Iratxe Ana’s and Igor Bacovich from Metamorphosis, Portugal, Wim Vandekeybus from Ultimate Vez, Belgium, and Hofesh Shechter in London.

Arran is a Flinders Drama Centre graduate (2018), and works professionally as an actor, writer, drag performer, singer and clown. His theatre credits include After All This (Wickedly Good Productions), Cathedral (STCSA); All The Things I Couldn’t Say (Deus Ex Femina); The Triumph Of Man (PaperMouth Theatre); How To Kill Your Hamster (Ladylike Theatre Collective); Virtual Intimacy (ActNow Theatre & Very Theatre); and Dead Gorgeous: A True Crime Clown Show (Madness of Two). Last year, Arran also stepped into Independent Theatre’s Othello as Iago, with a few weeks’ notice.

Emile Ryjoch is a multi-award-winning saxophonist, musician and educator with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz from Elder Conservatorium of Music. One of Adelaide's most in demand saxophonists, having worked alongside notable artists and ensembles such as Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Michael Feinstein, Chong Lim, Kate Ceberano, John Foreman and Em Rusciano.
