A man has been charged after a woman in her 30s was seriously injured after being stabbed in her ribs on a train in the Hunter on Saturday, November 23. Police tased and pepper-sprayed a 35-year-old man who was allegedly armed with a knife at Ravensworth Railway Station, between Singleton and Muswellbrook, after police said he stabbed the woman during an altercation on the train.

The man was charged with 10 offences.
