Better Together Quilt Designer 💙 Rachelle Denneny

Meet Rachelle, one of six designers who came together to design this special quilt to the theme of Slow Stitching.

“Being part of the Beyond Blue charity quilt project was for me a way to help create awareness and conversations about mental health. We need to know it is ok to talk about it without being judged and to ask for help when we need it. Beyond Blue does great work and it is an honour to be part of this quilt project”✨

Dear Homespun readers, it has come to our attention that, in our view, the right thing to do is remove one of our 25 Textile Stars from our honourary list. We have reposted the list without that business included and made the decision to remove the original post. This has not been done to hide your comments or stop you from sharing your opinions, but to ensure that the other Textile Stars can be fairly recognised for their work. Please always feel free to share your opinions on our socials.

Better Together Quilt Designer 💙Natalie Bird

Meet Natalie, one of six designers who came together to design this special quilt to the theme of Slow Stitching.

“Beyond Blue provides incredibly important services for people in need, so I was so happy to be involved in supporting this project. When I think of what ‘slow stitching’ has brought to my life, it has indeed brought me peace, an opportunity for reflection and relaxation and community support through sharing a hobby.”✨
