Formerly 2WG, an Australian radio station which transmits on 1152 kHz on the AM band. It is licensed to the city of Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. It officially commenced broadcasts from the former Hardys' Building in Fitzmaurice Street overlooking the Wollundry Lagoon, broadcasting on the Oura Road Transmitter site with 2,000 watts on 29 June 1932 and operated between 6.00 am and 11.00 pm. In 1952, the transmitter was moved to its present location at Brucedale. The station was originally located in Fitzmaurice Street but on June 6th, 2000, both stations relocated to studios on Lake Albert Road. On Wednesday October 7th, 2015, Triple M moved into a brand new complex at 11 Forsyth Street in Wagga Wagga. Today, Triple M Riverina plays Rocks’ Greatest Hits, covers everything local, has all the information on local sports and is also your number once source of news and current affairs.
