Yoga Teacher Training .yoga.pilates feels like family.
🌼
I’m so fortunate that I get to offer Yoga Teacher Training at Botannix in collaboration with Danielle Belleli. Danielle is not only the owner of this magical studio, she also completed our training in early 2025 as a student, so she knows firsthand how life-changing the journey is.
🌼
Since then we’ve become friends and collaborators, and as we both have 3-year old daughters hanging out is fun and easy. Danielle’s support and presence at Botannix make this training feel like family, one of her superpowers is community building, in fact the graduates from this year's training are often seen around the studio practicing and teaching together.
🌼
If you’ve been thinking about yoga teacher training, this is your chance to experience it for yourself. Come meet me at a Free Info Session + Workshop (try a class with me!):

🗓 Saturday 25 October (this Saturday!)
🕚 11:30am – 1pm
📍 Botannix Yoga Studio, Botany

✨ A chance to connect, ask questions, and feel the energy of what training with us is like. ✨

Ayurveda has changed the way I live in simple, everyday ways. Here are a few choices I make — and why they help me:

✨ I go to bed early and don’t need an alarm clock (though my 3-year-old often serves that purpose!)
Ayurveda teaches us that the hours before midnight are the most restorative. Waking with the rhythms of nature rather than an alarm keeps my energy steadier throughout the day.

✨ I let emotions move through me instead of bottling them up
Unprocessed emotions create ama (toxins) just as much as undigested food. By feeling and releasing emotions, I protect my inner clarity and vitality.

✨ I don’t snack between meals
Snacking keeps the digestive fire (agni) weak. By giving my body time to fully digest one meal before the next, I feel lighter, clearer, and more energised.

✨ I avoid using tampons
In Ayurveda, the menstrual flow is considered a natural cleansing process. Blocking or restricting that flow can disrupt balance. I mostly choose alternatives that allow my body to release naturally and gently (and also use tampons on occasion when they are more convenient because )

✨ There’s always a pot of legumes soaking in my kitchen
Legumes are grounding, nourishing, and an excellent source of plant protein when prepared well. Soaking makes them easier to digest — another way to keep agni strong.

✨ I avoid saunas and excess heat because I’m Pitta
Pitta types already carry heat in their system. Adding more — through hot environments or intense heat therapies — can tip me into irritability, inflammation, and burnout. Cooling, calming routines are much more supportive.

These are small choices I make because I know my body and my constitution. They might not all be right for you — and that’s the beauty of Ayurveda. It’s about your unique path to balance.

✨ Inside Ayurveda Goddess, I guide you to discover what your well and balanced life might look like. Our three live bonus classes START TOMORROW at no extra cost. Link in bio. ✨

When we’re overstimulated, the mind starts racing. In Ayurveda this state is part of "rajas guna" — the quality of restlessness, agitation, and constant motion. It’s what makes you feel anxious, scattered, and unable to make good decisions, no matter how much you “think it through.”

Rajas isn’t bad in itself — it gives us drive and motivation. But too much leaves us wired and overwhelmed. The antidote is in slowing down and recalibrating. That might look like:

✨ Taking three slow, conscious breaths before answering an email
✨ Turning off your phone for an hour to let your nervous system reset
✨ Walking barefoot outside to reconnect with the earth

When we reduce rajas and invite in more steadiness (sattva), clarity naturally arises. Decisions become easier and the mind feels calm again.

✨ In my online Ayurveda Goddess program we dive deeper into these ancient teachings and, more importantly, how to weave them into modern life. Enrol before 6th October (just 2 days left!) and you’ll also get three live bonus classes with me at no extra cost. Link in bio. ✨

I teach Ayurveda for women like me. Women who are busy, often tired, but carry a deep devotional spirituality inside them.

Sometimes I feel guilty if the Ayurveda in my life doesn't look a certain way — meals cooked from scratch, focused meditation, perfectly ordered routines. But the reality of my life is different. I’m raising five children, running a household, and holding space for my community. Some days are messy. Some nights sleep is not great (hello perimenopause!).

Over and over again Ayurveda still holds me. I’ve learnt that it doesn’t have to be complicated or idealised. It can be as simple as pausing with a cup of tea before the day begins, lighting a candle in the kitchen before dinner, or taking three breaths to come back to myself when things feel overwhelming.

This is Ayurveda woven into the fabric of a real woman’s life — grounding, nourishing, and sacred, even when it’s imperfect. That’s the Ayurveda I practise, and that’s the Ayurveda I teach.

✨ Ayurveda Goddess is where I share this approach with you. Practical, feminine wisdom that meets you exactly where you are. Enrol before 6th October and you’ll also receive three live classes with me this month at no extra cost. Link in bio. ✨

This is what it looks like at the end of an immersive journey of growth and transformation. 13 amazing humans stepped up, worked hard, and completed their Yoga Teacher Training with us .yoga.pilates earlier this year (we also ran a wonderful Restorative Yoga training).

In 2026 it could be your turn.

About our 2026 Yoga Teacher Training:

🌟 What is it? A 200-hour in-person Yoga Teacher Training program led by me, Katie Rose, with the support of a powerful team. It’s designed to train yoga teachers and offer a complete lifestyle reset, bringing the philosophy and practice of yoga into your daily life.

🧘 What you’ll learn: Asana, pranayama & meditation (practice + teaching skills), sequencing and class planning, philosophy and history, anatomy and physiology for yoga, ayurveda, lifestyle, and living a sattvic (balanced, harmonious) life. If you want to become a teacher you'll also learn how to find your teaching voice.

👩‍🎓 Who is it for? Aspiring yoga teachers stepping into teaching with confidence. Dedicated practitioners who want to deepen their practice and live yoga more fully, even if you don’t plan to teach right away.

🗓 When & where: Begins February 2026, in person at the serene Botannix Yoga Studio, Botany (Sydney) and on zoom.

💛 Why this training? A rare opportunity to train with me in person (most of my work is online these days). We have a small group size so you'll get plenty of personal attention. You'll also find

→ A community of satsang (good company) that uplifts and supports you.
→ A journey that truly transforms not just your teaching skills, but your life.

Mood is everything. The way you see the world shapes the way you experience it — and magic is a shift in perception. ✨

Here are three quick mood boosters you can try today:

💧 Place a drop of essential oil (I love geranium or frankincense for this) in your palms, rub them together, and take a deep inhale. A tiny ritual that can reset your whole nervous system.

🔥 Try Kapalabhati (“shining skull” breath) — a diaphragm pumping breath - I think of it as the yogi’s coffee fix. This energising pranayama pumps fresh prana into your body, clears stagnation, and wakes you up without the caffeine crash.

🎶 Shake it out — literally! Put on your favourite track (thank you, Taylor Swift!) and give your body a good shake to move stagnant energy and lift your mood.

Oh and bonus tip - surround yourself with flowers.

✨ In Ayurveda Goddess, we go deeper into practical, feminine Ayurveda that fits real life. Enrol before 6th October and you’ll also get three live zoom classes with me at no extra cost. Link in bio to join. ✨

I’m a mum of five and mornings in my house are not chaos. I've made this happen with compromise and because of my priorities.

I don’t have a co-parent to “take the kids off my hands”. And I also don’t buy into the idea that mothers have to be unconditionally available to our children every single moment. My teens get themselves up and out the door (with minimal nagging on my part) because I've taught them the art of organisation, self-regulation and discipline over many years - now it's paying off. The little ones get TV or screens in the morning (I know — shock horror!) while I meditate, journal, and drink my tea.

I set the house up for success the night before (uniforms out, lunches ready (including for the older 'kids'), everything tidy.

The children still interrupt my morning routine sometimes. But they also know that I require time for myself. Even my three year-old 'gets' this because I've explained it to her and my whole vibe around it is non-negotiable. Plus she gets TV so win-win 😂

This is my Ayurveda. Simple systems, balance, and starting the day calibrated instead of chaotic. I genuinely love my mornings.

Tonight we move out of the eclipse portal, and tomorrow we step into the first night of Navaratri — nine nights devoted to the Goddess.

This transition is one of the most potent times of the year to clear old patterns and anchor new ones. Perfect timing for… Daily Habits 🌸 Starting Wednesday, this offering is designed to help you reset your routines with intention, devotion, and discipline — the feminine way.

Inside Daily Habits you’ll:

🪔 Learn how to bring sacred structure into your days so life feel more easeful
🎶 Chant to the Goddess to call in abundance, clarity + protection
🌺 Create rituals that support your energy instead of draining it
📿 Align your daily practices with cycles of nature + feminine wisdom

If you want to ground your intentions in action, join us as we step into Navaratri together. This is the reset you’ve been waiting for and it's FREE.

✨ Doors open now — we begin Wednesday. Link in bio. ✨

17/09/2025

Dinacharya is the ayurvedic teachings around daily rhythm and routine. Often it can feel like a list of rules and regulations that are time consuming and difficult to stick to. But I've nurtured my own dinacharaya for years and I have rhythms that work. In fact recently I got some areas of my house painted and the painter came at 7am a few days in a row. It threw me off so badly having another energy in the house and distraction from my routine that I realised just how set my morning practice is and how much I genuinely LOVE it. I was so happy when the painting was done and I got my mornings back!
🌹
Let me shed some light in a way that will feel manageable and inspiring. What is profound about these teachings is they are ancient. I didn’t invent them myself and they’re not ‘new age’. They have worked for millions of people over thousands of years. You’re stepping into a powerful lineage as you embrace this way of being even with just a few tweaks to your daily routines and habits. I promise not to leave you overwhelmed and feeling like there is just more stuff you’re meant to be doing for so called self-care but never getting around to (hello very unhelpful feelings of failure and guilt). Let’s do this together. Jump in for free (link in bio).
