We are an Independent Yarnangu Corporation that employs over 35 Yarnangu workers and are looking to employ many more. We have a solid, talented and dedicated team of Producers, Coordinators, and Directors, from around Australia. NG Media’s non-Indigenous staff are here to share their skills and passion for media with the Yarnangu people. We have 14 Yarnangu members on our Board of Directors who ta

ke a keen interest in everything we produce and every project we embark on. NG Media’s vision is to empower Yarnangu to create and share their own stories through multi media. Our activities include:
• Cultural Performance & Recording
• Radio Training & Broadcast
• Video Training & Production
• Music Festivals, Recording & Distribution
• IT Training & Access Centres
• Technical Services Unit
• Archiving, website development and communications infrastructure. The Ngaanyatjarra Lands stretch across an area of approximately 250,000 square km’s, in the Great Victorian and Gibson Desert region of Western Australia.

How amazing did these turn out?!
Our beautiful minyma pampa came together for another relaxing group activity to end the week. Painting ceramic trinket dishes and a matching fridge magnet, with a hot meal of beef stir fry or sausages and rice, cupcakes and of course lots of cups of tea. 🎨👩🏽‍🎨☕️

Full circle moments 🔘❤️ Yanyangkari Roma and family watching a video that she filmed with Irrunytju Media in 1993, with daughter Noelene, who was just a young girl in the video. Noelene’s youngest daughter Lana watched on too! 3 beautiful generations together.
We also had Miss Emma and the primary class in doing a live radio segment, while Shakira worked on preparing tomorrow’s Minyma Pampa activity. A busy morning for all!

All within a days work 👏 Our endlessly talented Katrina Connelly put together a music clip with live lyrics for her song ‘Jesunya Anangu tjutaku mukuringanyi’ today.
Not only are her vocals incredible, but independently creating and uploading this from start to finish is so awesome. 🙌🙌

This week minyma pampa came together to watch the ‘Maralinga Tjarutja’ documentary - a devastating piece of history that has sadly impacted all families in the room. Despite much heart ache, we were inspired to see and hear stories of the resilience and strength that carries through to today.

Thank you ladies for a meaningful afternoon and for sharing your stories.

Lunch was a chicken coconut curry with rice, finished with red velvet cupcakes and cups of tea. ☕️🧁

We were very happy to welcome minyma pampa back today to recommence our . It was a nice relaxed gathering in the cool aircon (40°+ outside) designing earrings, talking stories and enjoying lunch together. Regrettably only got photos of a few, but to no surprise, soo many beautiful pairs were made today. 😍

With support from WA’s Department of Communities - today we commenced our Tjilpi and Minyma Pampa Project to help our much loved seniors through hot season. ☀️
With Christmas around the corner, our first session was using paint markers to DIY ceramic baubles, then picking out some additional baubles to decorate the small Christmas tree for each participants ngurra. 🎄🏠
