SELECTING THE RIGHT MUSIC FOR YOUR WEDDING

Music is key to a successful wedding or corporate event. When searching for the right wedding DJ, you must ask questions about music!

The Melbourne wedding DJ you hire will depend on the kind of music you and your guests enjoy. Locating an experienced and versatile Yarra Valley wedding DJ who is willing to play all genres, customise your music playlist, and knows what types of music will get every age group moving is essential.

Mark was the DJ for my recent birthday party and he was absolutely fantastic. We discussed in advance the "mood" we wanted with some cruisy "lounge music" to begin the night before some speeches and then kick off the dancing straight after that. Mark did a wonderful job, choosing exactly the right song every time to keep the mood exactly where we wanted to be. And then once we gave the signal to "crank it up" he brought out a great mix of hits and favourites that had everyone on the dance floor. Mark has a unique ability, unlike a lot of other dj's, to be able to properly "read the room" and so choose the next track based on the energy of what is going on and so to keep that energy flowing. The party was a great success thanks to Mark and people are still raving about how much fun they had. I’m so glad we hired Mark to do the entertainment as DJ, and to MC at my daughter’s wedding in January 2023. He listened to what we wanted, and was the utmost professional. He assisted us with the running order of the night and was easy to work with. Mark was keen to help with any questions we had and even offer advice based on his experience, which we found very helpful. Most importantly, he knows how to fill up the dance floor, getting everyone up and dancing to great music all night long. Mark knew when to speed things up and slow things down, and how to mix things up when needed. He taps into the guests' vibe and selects music that suits. As MC, he also kept the evening’s events flowing smoothly all night and we didn't have to worry about anything. The whole night ran so well because he had his eye on all the details. We couldn’t have asked for more. Everyone had an awesome time and have great memories to keep. He made it lots of fun. I would highly recommend him for your event needs, without hesitation.
