❤️ Hannah is stitching her very first project today, insisting it’s called “knitting”. Great concentration and her tension is pretty good too (see photo in comments). It’s all feeling very nostalgic... fixing tangles and rethreading the needle, just as my Mum did for me.

- Available to order through your local patchwork store or from the One Day in May website at https://bit.ly/2Jc7BGG. To see the full range of One Day in May patterns, please visit https://bit.ly/2gqVs5j.
– A decorative table-runner that will add a touch of charm to any tabletop. This design features patchwork, applique, embroidery and easily made, double-sided fabric flowers. The central patchwork is embellished with small shell buttons. Create this two-toned project with a pale linen and 6 fabrics chosen in your favourite colour.
– Learn how to create double-sided fabric flowers with fused fabrics. The flowers are attached to the feature panels with central embroidery, leaving the edges free to sit up a little. This adds a subtle dimensional quality to the design.

"Red Robin ~ Pouch and Jewellery Keep"
- Pouch ~ 5 ½” x 7 ½”
- Jewellery Keep ~ 4 ½” x 6 ½” when closed / 17″ x 6 ½” when open
Please visit http://bit.ly/2gPTHfz for more details and photos.
* Store your jewellery and other accessories in this small pouch and matching jewellery keep. Both projects feature an embroidered panel with appliqued robin red-breast. The robin’s tail and wing are made with double-sided fabric that is only partly stitched to the panel. This allows the edges to sit up a little, giving the design a subtle dimensional quality.
* The jewellery keep opens to reveal an embroidered verse and five pockets that close securely with “soft and flexible” velcro. An open pocket can be found on the back, made with simple patchwork.
* The “Red Robin” pattern includes a transfer sheet with IRON ON TRANSFERS for both projects, a full sized pattern sheet and an abundance of photographic and illustrated instruction.
