If you are playing Steve Harley this week:

“Make Me Smile (Come Up & See Me)” was recorded at Abbey Road studios, produced by Harley & Alan Parsons. The band members in “Cockney Rebel” had broken up over song writing disagreements & a new lineup was quickly formed. Lyrically, this song is about the split of the original band. It featured Steve’s then-girlfriend Yvonne Keeley (“If I Had Words”) & Tina Charles on backup vocals.
